My favorite hotel in Capri. Antonio and Marco are wonderful; thoughtful and caring. Beautiful view, delicious breakfast, impeccably clean, and staff are always a delight. Highly recommend.

La Minerva lived up to all the rave reviews. We were among the first guests of the season, and were upgraded to a beautiful junior suite with terrace. Welcome drinks, delicious and peaceful lunch near the pool, bathrobes, plush slippers and comfortable bed soothed our jet lag. Our two-night stay happened to coincide with the G-7 meeting of foreign ministers and rough seas that cancelled the ferry we had planned to take to continue our journey. The brothers who run La Minerva rose to the occasion, supplying us with the paperwork needed to pass through checkpoints, and organizing seamless alternative travel for us. The friendly, impeccable service, peaceful location and gorgeous views made La Minerva the ideal place to stay on Capri.

La Minerva is in a very special category all its own. Congratulations to a family creating a unique and beautiful experience for each and every guest that stays here. In any way you would want to measure the quality of a hotel from its guest welcome, atmosphere, decor, living areas, gardens, pool housekeeping, meals and drinks etc this hotel would score perfect marks in EVERY single category. It however goes beyond all these services to provide a feeling of returning home (if anyone could be so lucky). Fabio Marco and Antonino! These are the three men you need to meet in Capri! Worth every penny! This was amazing - the hotel is pristine and the service is amazing. They even helped us find restaurants in Positano! Book directly with them they are a family business and best in Capri!

Perhaps the best overall hotel experience that we have ever had, and we have had the privilege of staying in many fine hotels. The attention that the Esposito family lavishes upon their 18 room hotel (built on their grandparents villa and now operated by the third generation) is extraordinary. The brothers Antonino and Marco were superior hoteliers, who saw to every detail of their guests' comfort. We had both breakfast and dinner at La Minerva, and both the food and service were spectacular. Not surprisingly, La Minerva books up for the entire season, so make reservations early. This is a premium hotel, by every measure.

I can’t say enough about our stay a La Minerva, a refined and elegant boutique hotel in the heart of Capri. The interior and grounds are immaculate, and the attention to detail is evident around every corner. From freshly cut flowers throughout the hotel to the notable touches of their nightly turndowns, the service here is surpassed only by the friendliness and attentiveness of the top-notch staff. The family business, which is operated by two sons, Antonino and Marco, has clearly gone to great lengths to ensure that the entire team is cheerful and focused on exceeding expectations. The two sons lead by example—they are fully engaged with every guest, and they anticipate your needs before you do. From Saverio, the expert bartender who concocts imaginative and delectable cocktails, to Fabio the concierge host who masterfully manages your logistics to ensure a seamless experience, it is the staff that puts the final, shining luster on this beautiful and exquisite hotel. As breathtaking as Capri is, it is something less without a stay at La Minerva.
