Exceeded our expectations entirely. We were looking for a smaller boutique 5 star hotel for our honeymoon to make our time in Capri feel special. I loved having all the attention given how there are literally only 11 rooms. We were amazed with how attentive the hotel staff was and how proactive they were in helping us arrange activities, reservations, etc. I was constantly messaging the hotel on WhatsApp and I always received a response within 1 minute which I really appreciated - especially when we needed to have a car come pick us up after dinner. The food, pool, dining area, and overall ambiance was immaculate. I can’t wait to come back here again!!

Beautiful views and gorgeous hotel! The bed is super comfy and nothing felt like a problem. This is our second time and we will be back. Thank you to everyone who made our stay so magical. Swimming pool was fresh and inviting. Best stay in Capri.

This lovely guest house on Capri is a gem! Located a short four minute walk from the very center of Capri, the Piazzetta, the Fuorlovado 40 guest house (the name is the same as its address) is clean, equipped with modern conveniences (WiFi; good water pressure; efficient A/C; with a nice little private terrace) and conveniently located near the heart of Capri for shopping, dining, or beautiful walks overlooking the sea along Capri’s south shore. The best part of our stay was the friendly and informative communication with the guest house manager, Antonio, who provided a helpful stream of information via WhatsApp about our reservation and our stay. Antonio helpfully arranged for us to leave our bags at the guest house in the morning after we arrived on an early ferry from Sorrento. That arrangement worked perfectly, and we were able to explore Anacapri with day-tripping friends until mid-afternoon. We then returned to the guest house, where Antonio greeted us with a small welcome basket of drinks and treats, along with his personal recommendations on places to eat, drink, or get the best views on Capri. He is a gracious and amiable host, with friendly and informed advice about how to enjoy a stay on this beautiful island. For our departure date, Antonio arranged convenient and seamless luggage pickup from our room that was reasonable and reliable. We really appreciate his advice and arrangements! Our only regret is that we had just one night to stay in this beautiful guest house. We plan to return, and hopefully for two or even three nights, to allow ample time for walking the beautiful trails up to Villa Jovis, down to the Marina Piccola…..or to enjoy a Spritz at one of the places with a view that Antonio recommends.
