La Playa is a beautiful property in a beautiful town. Close to the shops but also quiet and near the beach. Staff is very friendly.

My wife and I celebrated our 21 years of marriage here .. it’s definitely a upscale facility and was treated by staff with great hospitality. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Our experience was substantially diminished due to the power outage that occurred during the majority of our stay due to the severe storms. I know it was not the fault of the hotel but I would have expected an offer to discount our stay due to the inconvenience. Also the TV never worked and I was put on hold for a long time and finally hung up without resolution. On a positive note, Michael the person who greeted us on arrival, made our dinner reservations and drove us and returned us to the hotel is a La Playa treasure!!!

We paid top price for this hotel, over $900 dollars per night, then at checkout they hit us with another $60 per night for so called amenities for breakfast, and parking when it street parking. Unbelievable! We have stayed here numerous times and never charged an additional $60 per night. We will never stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at La Playa and will be back for sure! Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean was dreamy. The extra amenities and welcoming staff take this already beautiful property to the next level. This trip was in celebration of our 10 yr anniversary and we had a chilled bottle of champagne and a card waiting in our room upon our arrival. It's small touches like this that make a lasting impression! Cant wait to come back

We had such a wonderful stay here, we will definitely be back! They had afternoon sangria, live music on Sunday, evening homemade cookies, and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I have seen in a long time. The staff were all fantastic and so helpful, they even upgraded us to an ocean view room simply because it was available. I can’t recommend enough! And the beach is a short walk away, as is the center of town. We walked everywhere!

All around, a beautiful retreat hotel. Staffs were hospital and accommodating. We were upgraded to a room w/ ocean view for my birthday without extra charge. Breakfast spread was generous which included mimosas, eggs & waffle made to order. Classy & cozy interior, down to the details of initials on the robes. Free shuttle to/fro dinning locations in the area was convenient. Even more special when you come back from dinner, and they serve warm chocolate chip cookies. so delicious!
