No carts available. Which limited my abiĺity to get to any activities going on that weekend. Or to drive around the property. Without transportation there was nothing to do.Found the weekend boring.

This property was really unique. Great for a family with pets. Really enjoyed our stay and wish we had more time.

The overall condition is ok. But since the property is very old, you will expect some dust, bugs and smoking smells. The furnitures are very old, and some equipments may not work properly. But it is a good quality vs price for a big family.

Well I had heard good things about basswood. I rented a cabin, I barely happen to accidentally get the bring your own sheets, pillow cases, ect. There was no TV, no stove, no bathroom, no sink. The bed had burn holes from cigarettes in the mattress cover. There was only one queen bed, and two bunk beds, nothing was comfortable. No chairs to sit in. I wouldn't say anything, but I am in need of a heart transplant which I'm waiting on, all I wanted was to get away from home to fresh air and away from the City. It had two air conditioners in it, but neither one worked, I got so hot I couldn't even make it for an hour my heart went into A-fib and Vtac. I brought the key back to the office and told the lady at the check in what was going on. I was offered no other room period I was only in the park for less than a hour and a half tops I didn't even get my $50 deposit back yet it that was Friday night. I'm not mad only very disappointed, I know I am no body anyway but I just wanted to enjoy a day or two, I only live day by day, never knowing if I will even get the blessing of waking up the next morning. I'm not wanting anyone to feel sorry for me and I apologize if I accidentally offended anyone. I only wanted to get away from home and try to live for a couple days stress free, but even that was taken from me. Anyway I don't know if I would ever come back there again but I will not put them down, it's just I will find a real place to camp. Anyway bless you for reading this.

My boyfriend, his daughter, and I stayed in one of their cabins. The cabin was clean, had great air conditioning, and a mini fridge. They are very upfront with you on here that you need to provide your own linens and towels, or they will charge you for theirs. What they did not say is that you don't have a bathroom (NO TOILET) in your cabin. We had one of their two room cabins. Their bath house was very clean, but I wish they would have said that we would have to share a bath house with other cabins.

Everything about the place was excellent. Will definitely be back to visit .

This was the worst experience I've ever had camping. Had to clean our fridge out. They say they got hot water in the shower houses and they don't it's ice cold. Staff is rude.

We enjoyed our stay at Basswood resort. We stayed in a deluxe 8 person cabin. The cabin wasn’t the cleanest, but it wasn’t horrible. There were crumbs and food wrappers in the pull out couch bed (Not ours. Ew!) and some of the “clean” dishes in the cabinet had a greasy film on them. Be careful about leaving crumbs anywhere in the cabin because the ants were plentiful. The A/C in the cabin worked great though which was so helpful when staying in mid July! Also, given the proximity to the airport, there are loud airplanes that fly over frequently. Overall, we had so much fun during our time and would stay here again. It would be nice if the pool were a bit larger or if they had a second one? Lots of people wanting to use a small pool is kind of annoying when it’s too hot to do anything else outside. 👍

Great family getaway! Cabins were so clean! If your in a sleeper cabin don’t forget your linens and the walk to the bathroom isn’t too far!
