I had a very good experience with my stay at Casa de Coliseo. First when I arrived I was greeted by Christian checked us in and provided us with a map of Cartagena and suggestions for food, drinks, tourist attractions, money exchange etc. When he says “I’m here to serve you” he really is. I must have called him several times throughout the day and he was helpful and pleasant each time. Now the hotel is very safe and secure. Doors to the hotel have a camera and electric buzzer to be let in. Hotel is beautiful, the furniture and architecture throughout capture a very colonial feel with rustic touch. Everyday I would see staff cleaning everyday day keeping the hotel tidy and clean. Breakfast lounge and balcony are wonderful with good view of the busy streets. Breakfast was included with a good and fresh selection. I stayed in the standard room which wasn’t big but the bed was cozy and pillows were awesome (I had great deep sleep). Bathroom and shower was nice with hot water. Staff is very attentive, rooms were always clean when we stepped out and when we would go out for dinner beds were prepped for us to come in and get rest. Room had typical amenities. The location was also a plus cause everything was just a 1 -10 min walk. There is a pharmacy across the street just in case you need it. Lastly distance from hotel to airport is like 15-20 min. I highly recommend and would stay again.

Impecable attention, I stayed during my wedding and all the hotel staff help us with every detail and need. I’ll definitely stay here again in my next trips.

Very beautiful property, excellent staff and the breakfast is really good. Nice place for an old town city. Some nice around in the evening because of the places around. But excellent place an I recommend.

We spent 4 nights at casa del Coliseo and when choosing several hotels´reviews I was amazed at how many good ones Casa del Coliseo had...Well, I must say that all those nice reviews were right. The hotel staff is amazing, service beyond my expectations, the room is very comfortable, breakfast really good. Excellent l´Occitane amenities in the bathroom. Cleanliness was exceptional. The hotel is very well located, within the walled city and there are very nice restaurants nearby... despite the neighborhood noise, I think the hotel did a very good job soundproofing the rooms even if we had a balcony right where to the "action" at night happens. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again..

This is quite literally the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was so kind and attentive, the rooms were gorgeous and cleaned multiple times daily. Truly a 10/10 experience, I would definitely stay here again.
