Comodo hotel alle porte di Torino, in zona collinare, in un quarto d'ora sei in città. Buona accoglienza, comodo il parcheggio, carina la camera, silenziosa, letto comodo, bagno spazioso (solo un pò rumorosa la ventola di aspirazione). Buona e varia la colazione, sia dolce che salata. Ideale per chi desidera visitare Torino e però vuole soggiornare in zona tranquilla. Abbiamo soggiornato con trattamento B&B e abbiamo usufruito dell'adiacente, letteralmente a due passi, ristorante La Mucca Pazza.

What an incredible surprise! I booked this hotel as I was attending Eurovision in Turin. Hotels were getting booked up fast and so I booked Hotel Glis without doing much research. I booked a superior double room. Due to a change of plan, I had to change the booking from a double to twin room and contacted the hotel directly to do this, it was not an issue and this was sorted quickly. On arrival, the staff at reception were friendly and so welcoming. Nothing was too much. Every communication I had with reception was helpful, efficient and just really positive. Breakfast was great and of a really good quality. The room was so much nicer than I was expecting - I was expecting the photos on some trip advisor reviews, a bit dated looking (sorry!), but opening the door I was so blown away by the quality and standard of the decor. My dad was worried he wouldn’t be able to make tea/coffee but there was a kettle in the room and a fridge with complimentary water! We also paid for the “mini fridge top up” on two days and got cans of pop, snacks, etc. This was really great. The hotel booked our taxi to the airport on departure day and this arrived with no issues. We encountered several different staff members and they were all so pleasant and so helpful. Our room was cleaned and fresh towers were left every day of our stay - this felt luxury compared to the UK! We were a little concerned about the ease of getting around to/from central Turin to this hotel, as it does feel more geared at the “out of city” business travellers, conference attendees etc., however we paid for a 72 hour bus ticket for €10 each which allowed us to get on as many buses and trams as we wanted for 72 hours, and using the app “CityMapper”, figured out that if we get the 49 and then 8 bus, it was super easy to travel in/out of Turin. It took around 25/30 mins dependent on traffic. Overall, this hotel was the most wonderful surprise and we will definitely return here on our next trip to Turin. We stayed 4 nights in this Hotel in May 2022. Paid quite a high price during those periods, possibly because of many concerts/matches and the fact not many hotels available around those dates made us choose this one. Temperature was around 26-30 degC during our stay. So the room was very hot. There is no fan, we have to open the window throughout the day to get some fresh air. However at night there were so much noises across the street, people were shouting, traffic, noises from the cars buzzing around really disturbed my quality of sleep. Wifi in the room was also very weak and I had always problems accessing wifi from my laptop (sometimes i need to be online to check my work emails/meetings). The room was also a bit old, interior is kind of dusty and maintenance can be done a lot better to improve the quality of guest stay. I came to Turin to watch a concert and expecting a calm/relaxed holiday. Had i known the situation earlier I would not book this hotel and choose rather calm, a bit outside of the city that allow us to rest after long day exploring in Turin. One thing that was good is the reception worker is very polite and tried their best to help us with information.
