The relationship between quality and price is too excessive.  A high price for a hotel with old rooms  where it is not possible to regulate the internal temperature. Too hot.  We do not recommend the dinner which instead of the gourmet ut seems like a Deliveroo dinner

We really had a great pleasure to stay for a week in this nice and comfortable hotel. Skiing was our primary goal, but after several hours of white slopes enjoyment, getting relief in warm pools and spa area only added to overall satisfaction. Cuisine, dinner in particular has been exceedingly good and diverse. Kudos to the chef! Our hosts were very helpful, especially with the transfers to/from cable cars, making this potential issue non-existent.

We stayed at the La perla Hotel in Ortisei for 7 nights and we enjoyed every minute. The hotel isn't situated in the center of the village but that isn't a problem since the hotel provides shuttles any time you need them. It's a family hotel with a small staff who provide excellent service, always kind and with a smile. The hotel provides 2 main meals + an afternoon snack. Being a vegan, the hotel catered for my needs and provided a special vegan menu at dinner. Another service the hotel provides is hiking trips with a guide free of charge 3 times a week which were great. There is also a spa center with a gym and 2 swimming pools, one of which is heated and outside facing the most incredible view. We would like to thank the Kelder family and their professional and kind staff for turning our stay into a memorable experience. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel and plan to spend another vacation in the Dolomites in this hotel.

I wrote this a month after we returned from a 6 day stay at Hotel La Perla, and we were still basking in the glow. Even now we still can’t believe what a fantastic trip we had. We’ve dreamed about hiking in the Dolomites for decades, but never imagined that we’d be able to pair it with such a lovely hotel stay. The hotel is a participant in the Val Gardena Active Programm and guests can participate in most activities without a fee. Hotel La Perla also has its own hiking guide who leads programs a few times a week. There were so many guided hiking options with these groups, and David (who might be one of the owners) and Sindy were so exceedingly pleasant as they poured over maps with us and shared their own experiences. They always greeted us with a smile when we returned and genuinely were interested in how we liked it. David even crafted a private route for our last since he was able to assess our hiking level and he didn’t want us to waste our time driving to another valley. It was great! We’re giving a special callout to the bartender, who was always so nice even though we weren’t heavy-users :o) Once we returned from our hikes, we’d shower and immediately head to the whirlpool tub and outdoor infinity pool. The pool’s views include the town and the mountains that we climbed in. The hotel also has a spa area with Turkish and aromatic steam baths, a cold water “grotto”, showers and places to lounge. We only had time to dabble in these before dinner, but we would have enjoyed one more day just to hang out. We agree with the other reviewers – the meals were great. It was nice to have the light repast around 4:30 or so, and then head down later for dinner. There were four served courses plus an extensive salad bar, and you could enjoy as much or as little as you wanted. We enjoyed the South Tyrolean and Aperitivo nights. Our junior suite with balcony was also a treat. More hiking information about the area: You can take a two minute ride with the hotel van to Piazza S. Antonio, and from there take two chair lifts up to amazing hiking/ski areas, or take a local bus (a free transit card is provided by the hotel) up the valley for a few minutes to other chair lifts. You can hike along the trails and pop out in other places, and catch a bus back. As for the trails?? Meadows go right up to the rugged rock faces, the views are extensive, and rifugios along the way offer lunch and even play areas for children. We’ve hiked in many locales, but this area is special :o)

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in May’22 with half board. The breakfast and dinner were delicious with wide spread of fresh fruits and vegetables which most hotels don’t. The meals were served in the dining room overlooking the meadows making it an amazing experience. The hotel has a few indoor and outdoor pools which come in handy when the weather turns rainy and hiking wasn’t possible. The hotel also provides free shuttle services to the cable stations and around town which is another plus point although we had a car. Overall, we had a marvellous stay at La Perla. We would definitely return next summer.

The food is delicious, the menu is thoughtful and extremely well priced. Staff (from the restaurant to front desk to shuttle driver) is not just friendly but accommodating and helpful. Rooms are clean, cosy and functional. Views are stunning as well. Highly recommend all across the board

The food is delicious, the menu is thoughtful and extremely well priced. Staff (from the restaurant to front desk to shuttle driver) is not just friendly but accommodating and helpful. The rooms are clean, cosy and unlike many over-stylised hotels these days - actually functional with lots of hooks/hangers etc in the right places. Views are stunning from the bedrooms as well as the dining + afternoon tea rooms. Highly highly recommend

E' ormai qualche anno che trascorriamo le nostre vacanze estive nel bellissimo hotel La Perla di Ortisei e a volte approfittiamo di qualche "ponte" autunnale o primaverile per godere delle visioni paradisiache dei colori dell'autunno o della fioritura. Anche quest'anno siamo stati al La Perla per il ponte di Ognissanti e pur se il soggiorno è stato breve, abbiamo avuto il piacere di essere stati accolti con il sole e poi ci è stato regalato anche un paesaggio innevato, Tutto stupendo. Che dire dell'hotel? Bello. In posizione strategica con vista panoramica su Ortisei e i monti Rasciesa, Seceda e Alpe di Siusi, Dotato di tutti i confort che ci si aspetta (compresa una navetta sempre disponibile). Pulito e ordinato. Silenzioso. Piscina interna, piscina esterna, grande vasca con idromassaggio. Palestra, SPA., Giardino, Bar, Terrazza panoramica. Parcheggio coperto gratuito, ecc. ecc. Cucina di ottimo livello, di tipo tradizionale che nulla ha da invidiare ai piatti della nouvelle cuisine, che in verità non amiamo. Porzioni e scelte sufficienti per arrivare a fine cena (se si dispone di uno stomaco abbastanza grande) considerando anche il fornitissimo buffet di verdure (e non solo). Colazione megagalattica e nel pomeriggio anche la merenda!! (Tranquilli, non ci sono bilance, per fortuna!!) Lascio per ultimo un apprezzamento particolare per le attenzioni che tutto il personale, nessuno escluso, riserva agli ospiti. Dalla reception al personale di camera e non da ultimo a quello di sala, di cucina e bar, sempre attenti a soddisfare ogni piccolo desiderio. Tutto ciò si concretizza grazie alla supervisione della Famiglia Kelder, proprietaria del La Perla, sempre presente e disponibile all'ascolto, con la quale abbiamo un bel rapporto di cordialità costruito nel reciproco rispetto. Davvero bravi. Mi fermo. Non vorrei si pensasse di essere stato lautamente pagato per questa recensione!!!! Grazie a tutti M. Matteo

Se volete relax andate altrove. Caos nella piscina e al ristorante dove piu che un gourmet sembra una sagra. Termini di cancellazione inesistenti. Sconsigliata la camera Junior suite, fche si affaccia direttamente sulla strada. Poca comunicazione.
