オクシデンタル リュブリャナ(Occidental Ljubljana)

This is a very pleasant new hotel just steps from the canal and the wonderful bridges and places to eat there. The hotel has something of a Scandinavian feel - light, bright and with light coloured wood furnishings. We has a room with a view of the castle which was spacious and comfortable. We ate there once and the food was good and reasonable value. We would definitely return in back in Ljubliana

Location perfect, you are in the center of the city. Hotel is very clean, helpful people. This is some new concept where you do not have regular walls in bathroom. So no intimacy at all. Yes you have separate toilet and shower, but this is some kind of glass, so no sound isolation. It is ok if you stay alone in the room, in any other case it is not ok. When you wash your teeth, you are doing that i fron of others who are in room with you. When you want to finish shower and step outside you cannot because first you have to get dressed under the showe, because when you step outside, everyone in room sees you. No intimacy at all. Not recomended even for love couple. But if you are staying alone, perfect, and perfect location.

Nice and new hotel. I have stayed there a number of times, the location is good. The rooms I have stayed in have always had two big beds in them, which irrirates me because I don’t need two beds, I would rather have the space. The air conditioning in the room dried the air too much it gave me a sore throat, regardless of the settings. I had to turn it off and open the window, but it gets noisey outside the hotel most nights so it can be difficult to sleep. The location is good in the centre of the town/city near a number of restraunrs and bars. The hotel staff are okay, nothing special just average. Overall a good hotel. There ia a car park under the hotel along with a Lidl supermarket which is handy. I have stayed in other hotels in Ljubljana and they are on par with each other.

We traveled with our team for a business meeting and decided to book this hotel. The location was excellent, right in the city center, and the staff were very polite and welcoming. I would like to extend a special thanks to Samir, the gentleman working at the reception.

Very nice and beautiful new hotel with awesome location! There was a guy at the reception (forgot his name,but he’s from Kosovo) with excellent guests relations skills and knowledge! Also a tattooed girl in the bar was very nice. Hotel like hotel, can be good or bad,but people ar this hotel are very,very,very nice and polite! Will come again definitely!

Ok but charged 35 euro for parking key They told me to drop it near the gate but was a trash bin did not receive enough and clear instruction from dront desk ladies park in level -3, after the supermarket in level -2..... very confusion

The location of the hotel is great, very close to most of the sights to see. Bright and modern lobby. Kind and helpful staff. Great view from my room to a church top. Delicious breakfast :) A bit tiny bathroom and toilet.

I am aware this is a newly opened hotel, and sometimes there are teething problems, but it was a brilliant stay and I would stay there again, along with highly recommending. I can only hope it will continue being the same after a few years' time when it has been used if different seasons. I stayed in Winter/January and it was warm, cosy and comfortable. The only downside I do not like personally is the fact that the room doors do not have peepholes, so you cannot see who the person(s) is, should someone knock on your door.
