ロジ オテル ロイヤル サン マール(Hotel Royal Saint-Mart)

This hotel is situated outside the main city of Clermont Ferrand in a quieter residential area. Parking is limited but the welcoming receptionist directed us to the back of the hotel where we could securely park our car overnight. The hotel has an old world charm and laid back ambience. The rooms are large with high ceilings and comfortably, but simply furnished. There was no fridge or kettle in our room. It is very close to a railway line but don't be put off by this - we only heard one train during our stay as it must be a branch line. We ate in the hotel's restaurant in the evening , which was busy with both guests and locals - always a good sign. There was a choice of 2 set menus or Al Carta. We had an excellent meal from the set menu which was beautifully presented and served. Highly recommend staying at this hotel as the food and service was excellent.

With a great French menu selection,also written in English, it’s a good local experience for under 50€ per head. Yes they served frogs legs. Delicious. A great cheese selection and good sorbet ends of the meal. The restaurant had a classy feel to it with a great view

I can't say enough good things about this hotel... Staff - the friendliest and most helpful ever Hotel & grounds - stunning. Very French in the best possible way Food - amazing. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant all 3 days of our stay and were delighted at everything. Great vegetarian options too. Rooms - beautiful with super comfortable beds and lovely, modern bathrooms. Summary: 10/10. I'd go back tomorrow. Thank you everyone who made our stay so perfect.

We loved our stay, thanks! They were able to give me 2 rooms instead of the one I originally booked , it was very convenient… they also accomodated early checkin even though we still had to wait a little for the rooms.. thanks it was a wonderful stay!

Restaurant en Famille pour un anniversaire . Excellent repas ( menu à 47 € ) Une mention particulière pour le maître d’hôtel Shiva !!qui ne manque pas d’humour ! Une pause dans le parc s’impose quant il fait beau et c’était le cas . Merci à tous pour ce déjeuner agréable

Belle bâtisse...mais intérieur d un autre temps..comme son confrère de Laguiole..le logis ST Mart ..des meubles dans le couloir...des travaux...une TV avec bouton MARCHE/ARRET cassé....des travaux....une boîte de kleenex vide...je pose la boîte sur le lavabo pour montrer à la personne du ménage et quand je rentre la boîte VIDE et revenue à sa place TOUJOURS AUSSI VIDE..

Bon accueil et bon restaurant, bar d’époque sympa, dans un très joli vieux quartier, entouré de belles demeures. Parking pratique, chambre simple, propre. Beau parc et beaux vieux arbres, participe au charme d’un vieil hôtel plein d’histoires. La réception est ouverte toute la nuit.

Très très décevant. Le restaurant cher pour du pseudo gastro qui n en est pas un. Salle vide mais on nous impose une table. Pas un seul sourire et à la limite du désagréable. Impersonnel. La chambre, rénovée en partie mais mon dieu ils ont laissé les couvertures boulochees qui ont ont moins 20 ans. Beurk beurk. Et le chat, super. Il deambule sur le bar et se frotte contre le pot de pailles destinées aux boissons des clients. Super vive l hygiène. On n y mettra plus les pieds c est sur.

Très bel hôtel avec chambre spacieuse, lumineuse, hyper propre. Personnel très agréable. Un hôtel comme on les aime tenue par de vrais professionnels. Nous reviendrons.
