ザ チニア ホテル(The Chania Hotel)

The Chania Hotel is a modern hotel that has good size rooms and balconies. The rooms are very comfortable with a very beautiful shower and the bed is nice. Unfortunately the hotel couldn’t meet my pre-stay request of a higher up room and request for an early check-in so I was located on the first floor right across from the stairs. The view wasn’t ideal as per picture with constant construction outside during the days. The staircase also doesn’t have good acoustics and echoes throughout with people’s voices carrying quite loudly. I did ask again for a higher room happy to move rooms but they didn’t come back to me on this unfortunately. Breakfast spread was alright not a huge hot variety but the staff were very efficient and friendly. Location was good across from the old town and some good eats around it.

We have only been here one night, but so far, the entire experience has been fantastic. On arrival, we were greeted with a delicious cocktail from the bar, where we sat and filled out the checkin forms. The car was parked for us for 15euros, meaning we didn’t have the battle to find a parking space in the busy Chania. The people have been fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, and they even took our luggage to our room, which was wonderful. And the breakfast this morning - it was fantastic. Both a buffet style breakfast and ‘a la carte’ option available. The entire team at breakfast were attentive, and made the whole experience feel very relaxing. Lastly, the rooms! They are beautiful, with double-width showers, beautiful bedding, blackout blinds, excellent AC and tastefully decorated rooms. In summary, this his has been a great find for us. Perfectly located in the heart of Chania, just a 5 minute stroll to the harbour. The whole experience has been brilliant. Looking forward to the last few nights of our stay. Thank you all!

We recently stayed at the Chania Hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The hotel rooms are spotless and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic and the location is perfect for visiting Chania. Most importantly, the staff went above and beyond the morning of our departure. I accidentally left my passport in the room safe. When I realized I was without my passport I contacted the hotel. The young man at the reception desk located my passport and put it in a taxi and had it delivered to the airport. I was able to make my flight just in time!!! I will forever be grateful to the hotel and the young man at the desk who went out of his way to help me. Thank you, thank you!!! I highly recommend this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay immensely! The hotel is situated in Old Towne and close to many fabulous restaurants and lots of shopping. All staff from reception, housekeeping to the servers at breakfast were so welcoming and friendly. We highly recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel, spotlessly clean and welcoming staff that go out of their way to welcome you. The breakfast is outstanding. So many choices of freshly baked dishes, breads, cakes, fruit, cereals etc. Centrally located on the edge of the old town and near the harbour. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly be returning next time we are in Chania.

We spent a week in this hotel with our 2 children. Modern design, brand new fornitures, good breakfast and food in the restaurant. Staff really friendly, helpful and kind. Strategic position in the center and very confortable. Hope to stay there back again.

Great property, very clean , and convenient. The rooms are a bit noisy from the traffic in the area.

After traveling for a week in Crete, this was the best hotel I stayed in. I only stayed for a night and wished I had stayed longer. This is a modern hotel with a luxurious feel. My check in was very smooth and I was upgraded to a better room with a balcony. I was given a delicious welcome drink and the hotel staff gave me a tour of the room to show me how all the switches work. Everything is touch screen, even the curtains. There was complimentary water and a box of chocolates. The room was quite spacious with hardwood floors and the most comfortable bed I slept in all week. The marble bathroom was also spacious with a large shower and multiple shower heads. I loved the smell of the hand lotion and soaps. The breakfast spread was enormous and delicious and an a la cart menu is also offered. The location is perfect. A few minutes walk to old town and a 4 minute walk from the main bus station. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful!
