Great place to go to very convient for getting in to Chania centre and Old Town is close by too. Bus station is less than 10 mins from the M City Hotel and there are buses to and from the airport regularly. Hotel is in the centre but I was on 3rd floor so noise was hardly heard at all once balcony door was closed and curtains pulled closed. Bed was really comfy and pillows were good too, shower room was excellent and just an ideal size, good views across to The White Mountains from the balcony. Continental breakfast was good and no complaints at all, service was excellent and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean . Katerina on the reception desk was courteous informative and a real gem .
This Hotel is fabulous, the staff are outstanding, helpful, friendly and will go the extra mile to help. Breakfast is fabulous. Bar prices are reasonable with a great selection of drinks. No draft beer. Whilst on Holiday my wife had a fall in town. We got back to the hotel the bar person, first aider and manager attended to my wife showing great compassion. Administered first aid and then directing us to a nearby clinic. The Hotel is close to the harbour and shopping area. Highly recommended.
Our second overnight stay at this hotel. Staff are lovely; helpful and friendly. The rooms are gorgeous and the food very good. Rooms are nice and quiet and quiet. We were given a room by the lift this time, which worried me as the 'voice' telling you the floor number is quite loud, but it wasn't a problem at all. We will no doubt stay many more times.
IIndia DBCute, cuter, cutest. Elia is the cutest. The sheets were comfy, the bed stiff yet plush. My wife enjoyed the balcony although the view was slightly over mediocre. The free, fresh cookies and eggs were a nice touch. The fridge did make brown noise but really, at the end of the day, I think it helped us sleep better (even though we had to wake up at 4:30am to catch our local bus to Heraklion to make our 9am Blue ferry—but this was delayed too). Good thing we remembered to leave our keys in the room.
ゲゲストWe were warmly welcomed by Eva which set the stage for a wonderful stay at Alcanea Boutique Hotel. Our room was charming and comfortable and we enjoyed using the sitting area in the courtyard. The hotel is well located with a view on the port while set back so that it is not in the bustle pedestrian traffic. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious and special options were prepared for the gluten free and dairy free needs of one diner. Our laundry was done in one day and well organized by the hotel. Next time we need to stay longer!
ゲゲストEvery hotel staff was smiley, friendly and helpful. We received welcome snacks snd message in the room. The room was modern with air condition, high ceiling and nice amenities. Breakfast was buffet-style as and adequate. Location is very close to many shops and restaurants but without the noise. I enjoyed the deep tissue massage at their spa.
Enhancement areas suggested for Room 11: shower door does not close; the queen bed was two separate single beds put together instead of one mattress, and with separate bedcover sheets instead of one queen sized bedcover sheet; a kettle would have been useful.
ААнастасія ГлавацькаToday, I have landed back home after spending amazing week at this family-run hotel. I can definitely tell you that it was one of the best holidays I have ever had, filled with nice people and great Greek weather. The hotel is located very conveniently, you have a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Lidl is just 5-7 min walk. Next to the hotel there was a great coffee shop- Move on. Next to the hotel there is a bus stop which will take you to Chania city centre for a nice promenade and a delicious dinner. Hotel itself is of an apartment style with amazing pool which was always well-maintained and clean. Every day the girls made sure that our room is clean and we have new towels, and they were making quite impressive compositions from flowers and towels😁 The manager of the hotel was extremely friendly and always dealt efficiently with any requests we had. Breakfast was delicious and overall our stay was extremely enjoyable. Definitely visit this hotel to feel the amazing Greek hospitality.
ゲゲストThis is a tiny boutique hotel with actually relatively large rooms . There is NO parking as you can’t drive into the city centre, so you will have to call ahead and they will send someone to drag your luggage all the way to the hotel . The place has a history as it was a house of an aristocratic Turks during the ottoman ruling . The rooms are modern and extremely comfortable , wide , the service is great . It is very close to everything you need , the city centre, the boats , the market etc… I will definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay here next time we come back to Crete .
