Super convenient location for our stay. Bright decor and very clean. Helpful and friendly staff

Upgraded us when our room wasn’t yet ready at 4pm. Gorgeous suite. Very helpful as we went through some outpatient surgery at UVA. All staff were excellent - front desk, valet, rooftop restaurant.

Really didn’t know what to expect even with the great ratings. We were more than pleased with our stay. Everything was easy, our kids loved the pink and vibe of the hotel. Even better that it was a block away from a local toy store and walkable to the pedestrian mall. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Very stylish and comfortable stay with lots of dining options in hotel and close by. Best hotel in Charlottesville.

We really enjoyed our stay at Quirk. The one problem we had was in relation to the valet parking. We were charged double the overnight parking rate but we were only there for one night. I brought up the issue to the valet who stated yes, that seemed to be a mistake and he would speak to his manager about fixing it. That never happened, and I did not receive a refund. It also took much longer to receive our car back then the text we received claimed. Overall, the stay at the hotel was excellent, but I wish we would have just done the self-parking option. We didn’t because prior to arrival, the website said there was no self-parking option.

Lovely hotel lobby and room. We liked the eco-friendly dispensers of shampoo, etc. The reception staff needs to seriously up their game on friendliness. They are not very welcoming and there is no excuse for that

We loved our stay here. Great atmosphere and beautiful, comfy rooms. The coffee shop is also terrific.

We arrived at 4 for check in. We were told it would be about 30 minutes. I asked about parking and was directed to a pink sign. I wasn’t offered valet or a place to keep our bags. We parked and walked back with our bags. We asked and then were told we could leave them at the desk. We were not offered this option. I asked if I could leave my number so they could call when the room was ready. The employee seemed baffled by this. We were not encouraged to have a seat at the bar not was a complimentary drink offered while we waited. We ended up sitting at the bar. At 5 I went back and asked about our room because we had dinner plans. I was told out room was still not ready but they could put us in another room. I don’t know why this was not offered before. The room was beautiful. I ran up to the rooftop bar to confirm that is where we wanted our friend to meet us. I explained that I was a hotel guest and had a friend coming hoping to catch sunset. No one told me that a private party was beginning and there would not be a bar available for us. When my friend arrived we tried to go upstairs and were told we had to go downstairs to get a drink. We also were told that the downstairs bar was closed. Ultimately, we got a drink downstairs and enjoyed the beautiful view.

I was pretty surprised at how unfriendly the staff was. Additionally, for the price I expected a few amenities. Only 2 luggage carts? And no one to help with bags either. The bartender was fine. That’s it. Fine. The room was fine. The table had spills on it. I had to use a wash cloth and clean it. There was a dirty washcloth in the shower when we arrived.
