Everything is good. The reception manager is very friendly. Restaurant is also great.

We unfortunately only stayed one night here and arrived after dark but the hotel was lovely, the staff were very helpful and the grounds are gorgeous. There is no lift as it is an old building restored beautifully however the staff brought the luggage to our room very quickly. Breakfast was good in the restaurant. We enjoyed our brief stay.

The hotel is more in palace style. Small room, more hotel that tuscan style. Very nice pool in the garden. A lot of space for dog walk. Breakfest very poor, nothing special. One day the second restaurant was closed and there is no option to eat becuase not so many places near the hotel. I went there for 2 night for the dinner in I Salotti restaurant. That was an amazing evening and great culinary trip.

We really enjoyed our four days here. The welcome was friendly - though we had to wait for the room to be ready. The room was large (very large for an Italian hotel), well-furnished and comfortable overlooking the garden and breakfast gazebo. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom good. It was a very hot few days - we went out each morning to nearby towns of interest - Monticchiello, Pienza, Montepulciano, Città delle Pieve, Panicale ... and came back to the hotel after lunch. At 4.00 we went to the pool - which was large, clean and well set up, pettily sited in the garden with Tuscan hills as a backdrop. We had booked half-board, so had breakfast and dinner at the hotel (in the Taverna, where the food and service was very good). Really a great break.

The hotel is decorated really nice, the rooms are big and air conditioned. There an amazing pool with a breathtaking view from it. The staff is super friendly and professional and helped us book a massage in a spa not far from the hotel which was amazing and the only downside in the hotel and it’s a major one is that the bed was filled with “bed bugs” and throughout the night I’ve been bitten maybe 50 times

This hotel was beautiful with floor length windows that opened to the hills of Tuscany. There was a beautiful walking area and pool. The staff helpful and so very nice. We would definitely stay here again. Wonderful way to relax away from the crowds. Centrally located to do day trips as well.

ECCELLENTE IN TUTTO, il personale di professionalità elevata la pulizia della struttura e molto accurata, le camere di ottimo livello. E inoltre possibile cenare in un contesto particolare con ottimi cibi e una carta dei vini ben curata. Inoltre, il personale di sala oltre ad essere attento e riservato, sa ben consigliare. La colazione e abbondante nel contesto sembra di vivere in una realtà del passato

I visited this hotel over Easter weekend, when the weather was perfect and tourism was at its peak. I enjoyed my stay! The hotel is on a beautiful piece of land with panoramic views, and the package deal (room, breakfast, three-course dinner) was quite reasonable. Linda at the front desk was exceptional. She arranged an in-room massage for me with Esperanza, who was terrific. On Saturday, I did a Vespa tour around the area with Vintage Tours. They picked me up at the hotel for a small additional fee and showed me the area. It was spectacular. The only cons: The wi-fi was unbelievably weak; my plans to watch a few movies in the late evening were foiled. The taverna was good but not great, although I appreciated room service (only a 5 euro service charge) after a long day out and about. In short: recommended!

Throughout our stay there was a terrible smell of sewage in the hotel especially in the lobby. The doors were kept wide open to have fresh air come in. It did not help. Talking to the staff they pretended that everything is in order. The room was warm so we opened a window. Had to shut it off immediately because of the smell. We ate at the Michelin star restaurant at the hotel. One of the worst meals we ever had. the food was mediocre, and, every now and than a smell of sewage was introduced as aroma.
