Don’t be put off by the star rating!! Myself, husband and two daughters aged 6 and 12 stayed here as an overnight stop off. The room in this hotel was immaculate! Compact yet plenty of space for what we needed. The beds and pillows were comfy, the bed linen was spotless. The bathroom was equipped with plenty of towels, a good shower and a hairdryer. Everything was sparkling clean (and I’m quite fussy). The room had air conditioning and a window that opened fully. The man on reception was incredibly polite and helpful and made us feel welcome. 5 out of 5!

After an unsatisfactory stay a few years ago in a very small room without aircon, we decided to try this hotel again, this time in one of the larger and much more expensive rooms with air conditioning. The room was beautifully cool on arrival, but, unfortunately, the noise from the aircon unit, even on its lowest setting, was so intense that we had to turn it off before attempting to sleep. Luckily the night was not too warm. Our room seemed small, but it was clean and in good condition. The ensuite was quite cramped, but, again, was clean and everything worked. The wifi worked well. The hotel is well placed for the motorway network and has good parking, and there is a choice of places to eat within a couple of minutes walk. We chose to have a light meal in the hotel’s own bistro which was a pleasant experience. All staff were friendly. Breakfast was standard Ibis Styles fare, but, sadly, the Styles ‘signature’ of freshly pressed orange juice was not present.

Quelle sale nuit! Hôtel tres bruyant,, les camions passaient constamment sur la route à quelques mètres. Nous avons eu très froid puis beaucoup trop chaud. Radiateur impossible à regler! La housse de couette blanche etait propre mais maculée d'au moins 50 tâches qui ressemblait à du sang séché ! Inimaginable ! Petit déjeuner à 9h plus de thé! La machine à jus dorange ( en boite) ne fonctionnait pas et il a fallu quémander du pain car il n'y en avait plus! forte odeur de moisie dans la salle du petit dejeuner

My family and I stayed for a night in the way to the coast . The rooms were clean, modern, spacious and very comfortable. The staff at reception were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location - just off the motorway but in a quiet setting with lots of choices of places to eat very close by.
