Stayed here as part of a coach tour and couldn't have been made more welcome. The hotel was warm and comfy although we did have to venture outside to get from the building housing the bedrooms to the reception/restaurant/bar area. Rooms were very clean but could probably do with a little bit of tlc and the beds were comfy and I slept well Food was lovely with plenty of choice for both breakfast and evening meal and the free glass of wine with the evening meal was a lovely touch as was the 3 free drink vouchers for each night of our stay. A 15 minute walk along a lovely riverside path and we were in the village of Aberfoyle with it's quaint shops and cafes. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel if you want to go further afield and the staff were very helpful with timetables etc. If I were ever to be back in the area I would certainly consider staying here again

Visited at September weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday with the family there were 11 of us who were aged 3 -56 aged booked 2 x Lodge/apartments. Lovely and spacious could be doing with a bit of a coat of paint etc, but this did not effect our Celebrations. Each lodge had 2 bedrooms 3 bathrooms and a sauna. We used the pool which was good for all ages. Beautifully kept gardens and lots of walks. Some of us ate in the restaurant which is very over priced which is a shame. Just make sure you take plenty of food etc with you as the nearest ships are a few miles away and take aways limited and quite expensive. Kitchens are well.equiped with large Fridge freezer, nespresso machine toaster. There is also a welcome pack with dishtowels, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and clothes.
