Good service, very busy. Unfortunately some of the food was burnt and returned after which they brought out a number of starters and sides free of charge for the member of our group that now had no food. Don’t have the bacon cheese burger as it’s two very small thin burgers that are well cooked and dry on a large burger bun. No sauce on the burger and not offered any. Yorkshire pudding starter is tasty but not worth the money for what is a frozen Yorkshire and some gravy. Caesar salad is large and amazing, as was the special.

Friendly staff, comfortable clean room and wonderful food. The perfect get away for an autumn break close to the Peak District. Highly recommend. Family room has a separate room for double bed and three singles in main room so plenty of space. Lots of choice for breakfast. Really great!

After reading all the reviews on this site I was worried that I booked this place. Right from when I first came greeted with really friendly person which helped me with my parking. Tye place was beautiful decorated the room was clean with molten brow cosmetics with robes. Nice tea and coffee facilities in the room. The breakfast can be improved but that was minor for me. All my other colleagues were staying at the premier inn but I am so happy that I was able to give my business to a local hotel with great staff. Thanks
