We absolutely love this place! We stay here a couple of times a year, got engaged here 7 years ago and married there 5 years ago. Service is always excellent and staff friendly would highly recommend a visit
Wowee what a lovely place to stay. This is a charming hotel with plentiful of places to sit back in comfort and enjoy the peace and quiet. Caters for the slightly older guest though don't let this put you off. The staff minus one (rude and non people skilled Polish lady) are some of the best and are really down to earth and friendly. The room I had was immaculate and the bed very comfortable. Food is prepared by an amazing chef who goes far and beyond to bring you some lovely meals freshly prepared. This hotel is on the return list for the future
We had a wonderful 1 night stay on a sunny October day. The welcome was warm with the fires lit, the sofas so comfy and the sun shine on the beautiful trees in the grounds. The member of staff who served us lunch and drinks and kept the fires going was a delight. The spa and pool were rejuvenating. Our room was quiet and very comfortable. There was a birthday card and wee cakes left for me which was a lovely gesture. Almost everything was perfect and I would highly recommend this hotel. They do have weddings there so it might get busy but not this weekend. The one downside was the lack of wine. 3 of our choices were out of stock which meant we had to choose a more expensive bottle which arrived half way through our evening meal after we reminded staff.
