Myself and my husband stayed for the night & we really enjoyed ourselves.room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom which was also lovely.breakfast pots of porridge and crossaints were a nice touch.we sat outside on the balcony in the sunshine,the views are lovely we would definitely return

Stayed one night, fantastic position, fabulous views. Very friendly staff who were so helpful. Room was a little tired but clean, everything worked and the bed was very comfy. Excellent meal in the bar, the steak and ale pie was simply delicious and so filling. I was a little disappointed there were no hand pulls, but there was a decent selection of beers. I didn't try the wine list. Well cooked and delicious full English breakfast the following morning which kept me feeling full till the evening. Overall an excellent place to stay and I will return when next in the area. Excellent value for money as well.
