I love this B&B. Julie and her husband are the most welcoming hosts and I just love coming here for work, I get such a good sleep at night and having stayed in two different rooms over the last two weeks, I can say that both rooms were so comfortable. Everything was just perfect. Both rooms were en-suite , although I wouldn’t mind using the room which has the bathroom across the hallway either, as I stayed in that room before and it was just as comfortable. The hosts are so kind, so helpful, there is even home made short bread in the room which I take with me when I visit, because it keeps me going at work! Such a kind gesture! Breakfast is very tasty and I should also mention that as well as the hosts, the two cats are absolutely adorable! :) What a lovely and very special place. Thank you so much.
Stayed in Room 20, which was a generous size, and easily fitted my husband, son and I. We ate in the Bistro each morning, and twice for our evening meal. Cannot fault the food or service in any way. Diane especially was a font of knowledge and breath of fresh air, bringing her local knowledge, hints and tips to guests. Facilities on the estate were just what we needed, snooker, golf, and scenic walks. The younger children seemed well catered for with daily activities and events put on by the leisure staff. A lovely, relaxed visit.
A three night holiday to have a break, and stayed full board. Our room had a n great view towards the Firth of Forth. Accommodation was excellent. The food was excellent and varied every night. Well cooked, well presented, and delicious! The staff were exceedingly helpful, attentive and cheerful.
Rufflets is a fantastic hotel, its location is perfect for trips into the town and has amazing grounds and gardens. The overall atmosphere is very homely and inviting, from the minute we entered we were greeted by Emma who made our stay most enjoyable. She was there for us whenever we needed her and we felt she was the foundation to our overall fantastic experience. The room we were given was perfect for our needs, with a new puppy recently joining the family, the easy access to the gardens along with the more isolated building made our pup feel perfectly at home. He was welcomed as much as we were and we felt at home bringing him into different areas of the hotel especially the bar. The bar was so cozy and quiet, perfect for us to sit and whine down for the night. Overall our stay was smooth and we had no issues.
