The greatest experience EVER! First, i have to point out how polite and helpful the staff was. Also, It has literally everything you need nearby like beautiful beaches, mini market, playground area for the kids, bus stop and a lots of restaurant. The prices are very fair and quality and cleanliness are not missing! Towels are changes almost everyday! What we loved the most, was the one-day-trip at the south rhodes we booked at the reception. We had years to experience something like this :)

Absolutely loved our stay at Sunny days, We usually stay at AVRA beach but couldn’t get in so booked close by at Sunny days, We weren’t expecting much going on previous reviews but we loved our stay here, The staff are great especially the reception staff and Mike the lifeguard, Our room was nice with a good shower,we didn’t eat much at breakfast as bought some Frosties as that’s all we need for breakfast, The pool area was superb, you went down at 9 and lots of sun beds,we also loved the pool, also the rooms were made very early most of the time so ready when you went back to your room, Now the big question would we stay again? Most definitely I really enjoyed this stay, thank you everyone

I sent 2 separate emails detailing this experience, and was ignored. So basically, if you have a sh*t time - there is no response from the hotel or wider company, and no resolution/compensation. My friend and I stayed on Saturday 31st August - Saturday 7th September. We checked out early, on Wednesday 4th September, as we were unhappy, uncomfortable and couldn't face staying at the hotel for the remainder of our holiday. There were a few issues that we ”let go” - as we were determined to enjoy our stay - for example: 1. The bed - one of the feet was broken which meant the bed was very creaky 2. The bathroom - there was a distinctive sewage smell from the sink 3. Door closing - no soft-close mechanisms meant that there was frequent slamming/banging of doors in the building, even during the night 4. The food - I understand that it is impossible to please everybody, but some of the food was inedible. Pieces of turkey with veins/gristle, and roast chicken at lunchtime that smelled like fish. 5. The wine - the red wine was terrible and tasted like vinegar. On Tuesday 3rd September, we were kept awake by a guest vomiting loudly from approx. 11pm until 3:30am. I phoned the reception 2-3 times and was told that an ambulance had been called as the guest had food poisoning. During this time there was constant coming-and-going of people, knocking of doors, slamming doors, people talking outside, but as far as I'm aware no ambulance ever came. Despite getting little/no sleep, my friend and I set an alarm for 7:55am so that we could get up early and get loungers at the pool. Looking out from our balcony at this time, it was evident that every single lounger had a towel on them, with less than 20% of the beds being occupied by guests. This did not seem to be well managed or policed in any way. In the 3 days that we did spend in the hotel, we managed to get a space at the pool once. We took the decision that in order to have: A good sleep, use of a pool, decent (and safe) food, and drinkable wine - that our only option was to find alternative accommodation in Rhodes. I spoke to the reception staff on the morning of Wednesday 4th Sep, and later the manager on duty - explaining that it would be ”reasonable” to expect a refund for the days/nights that we would not be in the hotel. The basis for this: 1. No longer using the room and/or facilities (e.g. air conditioning) 2. No longer eating breakfast/lunch/dinner, or consuming the all inclusive package drinks 3. Not feeling safe or comfortable in the hotel Despite sending 2 emails, I didn't get a response, so no refund (partial or otherwise). We checked-out early to escape the hotel and it was the best decision we could have made. Just don't stay here.
