Where should i start the disappointing experience i had during one night stay 1-2 Oct 2023. Rooms 2207 and 2206: Utterly pathetic rooms, seepage on rooftop and water dripping from roof. Wall Clock not working and nor was the AC remote. The bathroom had no lights and the shower mounted on roof was throwing droplets of water. The telephone in room was not working!!! Room Service: Highly irresponsive and carefree… Asked for towels and glasses… left unattended for 40 mins, ultimately had to go to the reception to ask for it. Restaurant: The food is fine but the hypocrisy of the staff and reception guys spoil it. Was informed that orders will not be accepted beyond 1030pm and lights will be off by 1100 pm, but was amazed to see that orders were being accepted till 11:15pm openly as walk in customers were coming and We were forced to eat cold food as I entered around 1035pm. Despite staying we were treated as if we were there for free. The room cards were deactivated from back end at 1100am without any intimation to us and we were forced to stay out of our rooms for 20 mins as master key could not be arranged. For this pathetic property, the hotel staff had charged the complete room rent on arrival so that i could not escape this place after seeing the pathetic condition of rooms and rude staff. When asked if i could document this feedback in hotel records, i was rudely told that there is no system of taking customer feedback. The policies drafted MP Singh who resides in Canada are only at the disposal of staff who run a flop show at Mohan Continental and not long enough before this place goes out of business. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED.. anyone can contact me for proofs of the claims made by me in this review !!
We booked Clarion Inn hotel, Patiala for the cocktail and Haldi function on 11th and 12th February 2024 and I had the worst experience here. On 11th I had cocktail party and The food, the hospitality and everything else was the worst. The hotel has such big name but had nothing. Firstly they don’t know how to fulfill commitments. Secondly they don’t even have proper cutlery. They were serving everything in disposals. Also we gave them our own cutlery they didn’t even returned it to us. Hotel didn’t even have waiters to server or refill the food, food quality was the worst , not a single thing was worth eating at all. Let’s talk about The rooms, they didn’t even have basic amenities in the rooms at all. My guests had to call room service again and again to request for the basic things. Moreover, let me share one video also, Ceiling of one of the room also fell of. This was really disappointing. During breakfast time, can you imagine, my guests were making things themselves, cuz the hotel didn’t have any service at all, they didn’t have waiters, and the quality was literally the worst. My guests told me that we are better without any breakfast and went outside to have something to eat. It was really embarrassing for us. You can see the chana puri in the photos, never seen so bad puri at a 4star hotel ever. They were taking 30min to serve things and even then the food was like this. Moreover during the dinner time after Haldi, restaurant took 30min to serve milk, to serve chapatis, and that time again my guests just stood up without having proper dinner. All of my brother’s wedding functions went out bad just because of the hotel’s poor management and services. I will never recommend this hotel or this franchise again to anyone.
