I thought it was VERY inconvenient to not be able to expense meals/drinks/services to my room to have just one final bill. For business travelers, this implies needing to report and expense several bills instead of just one upon check-out. Second, the food quality at the restaurant was subpar, to say the least. Once, I ordered a medium/rare T-steak. It arrived overcooked, on a bed of BBQ sauce (WHY?!), and it was the hardest meat I'd eaten in years, it was very disappointing. Third, the spa. I booked a 50min massage at the hammam. While I was there, there were 2 teen guests talking very loud, yelling, clapping on the water recipients, etc. I had to tell them myself to please be quiet, while I was covered in foam (this should be done by the person delivering the massage at the first sign of noise and disrespect), yet they continued doing their own show. Fourth, when I left, I looked at the clock and the massage had finished after 32min, when I paid for 50min one. Fifth: The coffee machine at the buffet is old and delivers only water when you press the coffee-vanilla option, and for the rest of them it's an unsavory, watery diluted coffee. Totally not what you'd expect from this sort of hotel. The only good think I found during my stay were the premises, which are new and tidy. I don’t think I would come back.
I booked 2 nights at this hotel for a ski getaway after a week in istanbul. I requested a room with a big bed since I'm staying with my wife, they gave me a room with two full size beds. The bed covers were stained, the radiator knop broken and the room was extremely hot, the toilet seat was ”unleveled” and discolored, the towels were dirty, the shower head was broken and the tub was moldy around the edges. The furniture is old and worn out. I spoke with the receptionist and they apologized and oferred to switch my room the next day if rooms become available. I checked out of the hotel after 8 hours of my stay. No refund was granted -not even partial- Overall, although the receptionist was trying hard to enhance my experience, I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. I went to another hotel down the hill (~10 km away) that cost the same amount. The taxi ride to the slopes would take around 30 minutes. In my opinion, staying at a clean, nice and famous hotel - at the same price- is the best option if you're looking for a skii trip in Kartepe.
Öncelikle otelinizde geçirdiğim süre boyunca gösterdiğiniz ilgi ve alakayı takdir etmek isterim. Ancak, son günlerde yemeklerde yaşadığım sorunlar nedeniyle memnuniyetsizliğimi iletmek zorunda hissediyorum. Maalesef son dört gündür yemeklerde ciddi bir kalite düşüşü yaşandığını üzülerek belirtmek isterim. Özellikle etlerin çiğ olması ve tavuk yemeklerinin hoş olmayan bir koku yayması, yemek deneyimimi olumsuz etkiledi. Kahvaltının zayıflığı konusunu ayrıca ele almalısınız. Bu durumu daha önceki şikayetimde grup sorumlusuna ilettiğimde, maalesef yetersiz bir yanıt aldım. Otelinizde kalırken konforlu bir deneyim yaşamayı ve sağlıklı yemekler tüketmeyi beklerdim. Lütfen bu sorunu ciddi şekilde ele alın, yemeklerin kalitesini ve hijyen koşullarını iyileştirme adına gereken adımları atın.
