My husband and I have stayed here over 15 times in the last 3 years and it has always been our go-to hotel when staying in York The customer service has always been great but this time it was exceptional! From the second we walked in Jacob at the front desk completely took care of us! I had called the hotel several times before this visit and spoke with Jacob as well . He went above and beyond to research our questions and accommodate all of our special requests . He is outstanding ! I also want to give a shout out to Hope the operations manager who also completely took care of us on our check out date . Both went above and beyond and really went the extra mile . The hotel lobby area was perfect for our small gathering in the evening! A wonderful and warm and inviting space to hang out . Our rooms have always been super clean and most often allowing for an early check in . Done hesitate to book here !

It was a last minute reservation that day about 4 hours from check in time. We stayed here previously and was quite nice. This trip we were not as happy. Had requested a room with no one overhead on the on-line reservation request. We were given a room directly across from the breakfast area on the 1st floor. The room was quiet though. the cleanliness of the room was lacking. Our shoes made noise while walking on the tile floor like it was sticky. It was like what did you clean the floors with. We were very careful what we had on our feet not knowing what it is. The room took several hours to warm up. The hot food at the breakfast bar was not hot especially the eggs. The other hot items were barely warm. The coffee at the coffee bar when we arrived was only luke warm and had to be heated in the microwave. At least the coffee was hot in the morning but strong as strong cane be. We had to use creamers so we could drink it.
