I'm trying to be factual not emotional. When we walked into our room, number 325, there was a strong and undeniable smell of cigarette smoke and cleaning product(s), which seems like they tried to cover up the smell of the cigarette smoke the fast and cheap way. Interestingly, they called us about an hour after check in time asking us if we were still going. It makes me wonder if it's because they were deciding who to assign the cigarette smoke room to. We don't want to switch rooms at this point because we have to much luggage, and we're traveling with someone who has severe autism. I just wish we'd gotten what we paid for, a room that doesn't smell like cigarettes.
I was in Thomasville for a work conference and stayed here. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. My conference provided breakfast most mornings so I didn't have a chance to enjoy the hotel's breakfast, but I did pop in one morning and everything looked fresh and the area was clean. The bed was very comfortable with soft sheets, the towels were soft and the shower water pressure was great! My room did stay quite humid the whole time and there were always a few gnats buzzing around... but it's August in South Georgia so that's almost to be expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this hotel.
