ザ ニュー イン(New Inn Hotel)

What a find. We were welcomed by a pleasant, friendly young man who dealt with us very efficiently. The room was spacous clean and well set up. The food was fabulous, quality, taste, variety and quantity. All the staff were a delight and clearly aimed to make all visitors stay a wonderful experience. We send our thanks and best wishes to you all.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here this year and it was just as good as the last visit. This place is not over priced yet the rooms and service are excellent. This visit we did the Ingleton Waterfall Trail. We arrived after the walk, checked in and had a couple of drinks along with a lot of other fellow walkers. Once again we had a fabulous room and dinner was superb. Not overpriced yet the portions are huge and I’m not exaggerating!!! Only order a starter and a main if you are really hungry as like us wish that we’d only ordered a main!!!!! The starters are huge as are the cooked breakfasts. My only *******…… Fruit not topped up for the buffet breakfast, no tongs to pick up the pastries and.no side plates to butter toast at breakfast. Shame I have to point this out as it should just be standard service. Apart from that excellent value for money. Definitely our go to Dales staycation!

Found a curly ginger pube in the Mash Potatoe! Also waited over an hour for the food. The staff were quite rude when this was pointed out. Disgusting, won't go there again. Shame because it looks nice and has a good vibe. Maybe poor management!

We spent two days in the Yorkshire Dales with some friends and stayed here at the New Inn. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and we received a warm welcome from Will. The hotel is nicely placed for exploring the area between Settle and Kirkby Lonsdale. There is a warm atmosphere in the bar and food is served either in the bar or the restaurant area. There was a varied menu with meat, fish and vegetarian choices. Gluten free options were available also which was important for us. Service was friendly and efficient. Warning! Bring your appetite, the portions are generous! Breakfast was served in the restaurant area with a self service for fruit, cereals, coffee and baked goods. Orders were served for cooked breakfast choices which were again of generous portions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to visiting again. Lovely hotel, friendly and attentive staff, great food and drink at reasonable prices. The rooms are nice clean and comfortable Couldn’t fault it and great value for money. Ideal location for walking and visiting other pretty villages nearby. Will definitely be back

Stayed for 1 night at the end of January, wish I'd stayed longer. Beautiful period looking Inn. Great welcome by the gentleman behind the bar. Stayed in Room 19, lovely big 4 poster bed, beautifully furnished. Great powerful shower. Evening meal and Breakfast were first class. Will definitely be staying again!

We were at the New Inn last Friday and enjoyed a really great stay. Staff were friendly and attentive, room was large and comfortable, food and drink really good. Cooked breakfast was an unexpected bonus. And what amazing value. Location in the middle of the village couldn't be better for local walks (we did Ingleborough from here) and the whole experience was one we look forward to repeating as soon as we can. Well done everyone at The New Inn and thanks for making our stay so memorable.
