ゲゲストIf I could give this hotel no stars I would. I highly recommend you look elsewhere, this place is just plain nasty. Below is my story. On March 28, 2023 my husband and I, traveling cross country stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Clarksville. I want you to know it was not a pleasant nor comforting experience. After a long day on the road all we wanted was a quiet clean room, with a comfortable bed and good shower. We had made reservations ahead so did not see the property prior to our arrival, and I did not check the reviews. Saying it was worn but clean would have been a complement. Had I seen the property in person prior to making the nonrefundable reservations I would have never checked in. The room door was open, the door ajar and unlocked when we arrived. The TV and radio blaring. Paint was peeling in the tub- no literally the tub was painted and was peeling, not just a little a peel of paint mind you it was over 18 inches wide, how can one even begin to clean such a surface? The mini fridge was frozen with a thick coat of ice in the back, the room had an unpleasant odor even though the a/c was on and cranked on high albeit it was cold outside, when we put on the heat, the odor was even worse. The carpet had not been vacuumed to any extent and had hair and stuff on it, the floors in the bath were dirty, the furniture shabby and full of greasy fingerprints and remnants of presumably old food or worse. There was dirty dust in the corners and on some surfaces. The bathroom sink and counter were not clean, I had to go the car to get sanitizing wipes so I could wipe things down to use them. The front desk staff, though very kind, said the property was filled up and did not have another room to move us to. We were so tired and there was nothing the staff could do so we decided in our exhausted state to just deal with it and went to grab a bite to eat. When we came back from dinner they said the staff said they would bring the issue up to the manager, which in my opinion was of little consolation. On checkout we received $30.00 off of our total room charge that was overinflated for the property. Trust me, this is not a Marriott, the room should have been gratis at that point, whoever heard that it is okay to ever rent out/charge a consumer for a room in that condition. To management. Look, you may think you are doing a great job but you are not. You are driving customers away. The property needs repair, and a good cleaning. The housekeeping needs a talk and they need training about basic cleaning, sanitation and standards for taking rooms out of commission when they need repair. I have been a Marriott member for many years and have stayed at many hotels, I have NEVER experienced an encounter like this one which was Absolutely Horrible. I will NEVER stay at a Fairfield Inn again. Consumer beware.
