Pleasant stay for the April 2024 eclipse. The hotel even provided an eclipse themed welcome gift. The area was fun and walkable and we enjoyed watching the trains and barges pass by from our room. It was a lively area until around midnight on Sunday due to all the great restaurants and bars nearby, but I am a sound sleeper and I wasnt disturbed. Maybe bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. I was happy with the room and the service.

The beds are comfortable. The hotel itself is so basic. I couldn’t wait to leave. It feels like a prison. I was stuck here for days on business. There’s no stores in close walking distance , but if you want to spend min $50 for a meal for one, that’s your only option with the restaurants nearby. The room doesn’t have any extras. It feels bare bones. No drawers, built in desk, and they give you two free Aquafinas and a teeny bottle of lotion, but after that, you’re on your own- even if you are staying multiple nights. There isn’t anything to eat or drink in the lobby area. A banana or apple would be nice. They have bottled water, soda, chips, or cereal or plastic wrapped bagels- all for $6.50 each. Breakfast is very lacking. The shower annoys me- the knob is backwards hot/cold; there is no where to put your things in the shower- your razor or cleansing products just go on the floor. Also there was a hair stuck to the shower tile before I’d ever gotten in. They don’t give you extra lotion even if you stay multiple days and the sink gets stopped up. Two towels only. If you like a few extras, this is not the place for you. It sells itself as modern minimalist hotel, but it’s really just too cheap to offer the extras most hotel goers expect. I will do not wish to stay here again.

I loved this hotel and the area it is located in. It is easy to walk to lots and lots of dining and bar options.

The hotel itself is fine, but it’s located across the road from train tracks, and the trains are frequent with blowing horns, and there isn’t adequate soundproofing. I got very little sleep. I come to Cleveland frequently on business, this was my first time trying the Aloft, and I will stay just about anywhere else in the future. I realize the hotel can’t help the train situation, but they can control the soundproofing.

The location is amazing and it was great to stay there during Halloween event. The only two things that I want to say is the warm water could have been warmer and for the air conditioning in the room to not be so high.

I’ll be honest, I am not one to typically write reviews, but given that I’ve been awake ALL NIGHT I want to warn people to bring a sound machine, fan or something to cover the loud loud noise from downtown Cleveland that seemed to start at 10 pm and is now still going at 6:30 am. I get that this isn’t the hotel’s fault but as someone who typically struggles to sleep, all I wanted after two long days of conferences, was a good night sleep before being stuck in airports for the next 9 hours. Nope. Again, I understand it is not the hotel’s responsibility or fault, but a warning to guests when they check in would help level expectations. Cleveland was a great city to visit. It felt very clean, so the loud music certainly was not expected.

Staff were friendly, informative and helpful. Great location for food and drinks. Stayed for a week and room didn't get cleaned for 48 hours.

Great location, wonderful room, stadium right around the corner, awesome staff, and next to rec trail.
