ホステル ディ ウォンゲマインシャフト(Hostel Die Wohngemeinschaft)

Nice staff, cool interior designs, comfy (and private), large dorm beds. Location in a trendy neighborhood with lots of bars and coffee shops. A very good hostel, would stay again.

沒有停車場，電梯罷工停用，房間沒有衞生間，屬於共用衞生間，也就是説半夜你要起床尿尿，還要打開自己的房門出去找廁所。想要沖涼洗澡還要排隊，等別人洗完了才能進去。這簡直就不是一家酒店，連車馬大店都算不上。別説是讓我花錢再去入住，就是免費讓我住，我都不會同意。 我們一行四個人八個行李箱從一樓硬生生地扛到了六樓。酒店沒有前台服務，或者説前台服務指到晚上的9:30。 如果你要晚於9:30辦理入住，就必須要去酒吧前台找服務生做自助入住。 周邊環境也是臟不拉幾一塌糊塗，沒有一點德國的樣子。 我非常後悔，為什麼選擇這樣的酒店？ 好在衹是住了兩晚果斷退掉投訴換其他酒店。我強烈不建議其他人入住，除非你想給自己找不快。房間的被子也是小的很，一個輩子根本不能蓋到自己，半夜總是晾出去。加上房間沒有暖氣，這兩個晚上簡直就是災難。想多要床被子都找不到服務員，因為他們9:30就下班了。 再次生命，這不是酒店，連客棧都不算，最多是一個車馬大店。

I stayed here for 5 nights as a base to explore Cologne and Dusseldorf and Aachen and Trier. It was just relaxing, the beds were nicely partitioned and comfortable, reception staff were very welcoming, the location itself is in a nice neighbourhood and a short ride away on public transport from the city centre, there's a little convenience store a few doors down to buy beers and basic goods, and also other useful shops in the area, and it was only a 5 minute walk to the Hahnentor at Rudolfplatz where I joined a free walking tour. The bar was well away from the dorm rooms, so there was no noise and it was very comfortable to sleep.

5 days before my arrival that I booked in advance 4 months, they have cancelled it, because there was a water problem with my room, so they transfered me to another hostel lower in quality, commodities, cleaning and location. When I asked more details about this new accomodation, specifically about the room they booked for me, they answered me: "we can not give you this information". There was a mistery... So, I was not able to accept to be in a hostel room which I didn't know anything about (what room it was, it was shared or not, if yes, how many people would be there) simple questions that I didn't get answers to. The hostel cancelled my reservation with no excuse. there is lack of transparency and communication from this hostel. I do not recommend it. If you are not sure about it, book somewhere else.

The hotel does have private rooms available, so that's what we got for our family with younger kids. The location is out of the city centre, but public transport made this distance less of an issue. The hostel is still located with a lot of local places of interest too. (over the road if one of the best cafes I've been to for breakfast anywhere I've stayed - Cafe Buur) The staff were helpful, and easy to speak with. We had booked a different room to the one we got, and had a lot less space. Each bunk still allowed us decent privacy and we slept well. The common areas are kept very clean too. Each room has a unique decoration theme - ours was the circus.

Stayed four nights in the Tamara (Gone with the Wind) room. Room worked really well. Staff friendly and helpful. Lounge facilities good, games, books, free tea and coffee 24/7. Bar downstairs was quirky, fun and popular. Had worried might be noisy but hostel on floors 4 & 6 so lovely and quiet. Honesty bar for beer and soft drinks in the lounge. Shared facilities all clean and well equipped. Would happily return.

The staff were amazing, the rooms (they have double beds instead of single beds, with amazing curtains and big enough storage) were great and facilities were nice and clean. The location was good, with public transport easily accessible (and cheap with the 9 euro ticket). Although, the breakfast to me, was not worth the price, but there are lots of options around the hostel.

Amazing rooms with spacious rooms, large beds and privacy curtains. The only real downfall is that theres no guest fridge or kitchen for use. Would recommend!

It was a great place in the Belgium Quarter, one street over you could have many different types of food and the bar downstairs was nice.
