Our party was a couple with a nearly 2 year old & a couple with a non crawling 10 month old. (4 adults & 2 kids) I’ll start off with saying it’s a beautiful hotel. It’s clean and modern but simple changes could make it so much better! Rooms We stayed in twin rooms - 1228 & 1227 We wanted rooms next to each other so that when the babies were asleep we could sit together as two couples and have a bit of an evening. The only way this is possible is if you have a garden room, we didn’t know this till we got there. The rooms on the Tatium side are the quieter rooms which was great when travelling with babies/toddlers. We had requested ground floor rooms as we have a toddler who’s an escape artist. On arrival we were given 1st floor rooms and told they were fully booked so couldn’t move us. They said we could try the next day but couldn’t confirm. We received a phone call the next day and shown two rooms but even with them being on the 1st floor they both had balconies with a drop so chose not to move. The rooms aren’t big enough for a family. The wardrobe has space for two adults worth of clothing but not a huge amount more. The wardrobe doesn’t have hanging space for full length dresses & no where to store your suitcases. There isn’t an iron or kettle in the room, you have to pay extra for these. The door doesn’t lock from the inside so our toddler regularly opened the door and attempted to visit our neighbours. The patio door has a little latch to lock it but if you try and close the door from the outside it doesn’t close fully, guess this is for safety so you don’t lock yourself out but frustrating when you have a sleeping baby in the room and try not to make a sound when going for the balcony for some adult time. The garden rooms near the kids splash area didn’t have gates so we’re glad we didn’t have that room otherwise our toddler would have ran off all the time! Bed The bed is terrible & squeaked when you move. So any bad back suffers be prepared. One pillow is soft and the other is firm. Not great unless as a couple you have opposite taste in pillow types. There is loads of spare cushions which worked great as a pregnancy pillow for one of us ladies as we didn’t have the room to pack it with us Coffee Right parents, be prepared the coffee is TERRIBLE! And the nearest cafe is Starbucks which is 32mins stroll to the beach. You only get one bottle of water per stay. The supermarket across the way sells them if you need them for babies bottle etc. Food & Restaurants As you expect from an all inclusive it’s very sammie. Be warned the jelly makes toddlers hyper so allow them to eat with caution. You have to get your own drinks which we found odd for an all inclusive hotel and rather frustrating if you were solo parenting at the meal. There is always somewhere to eat during the day but we still found ourselves going out for a number of meals to get something tastier and different. We didn’t see any microwaves for heating kids food

Just returned from a week here. It was a lovely hotel with excellent entertainment. The adults only area was first class and we spent every day there at sometime. Bar service excellent and barman always cleaning the top of bar. The surrounding areas were spotless. Room was large and good size balcony with comfortable chairs. Bathroom also very big. Food varied and exceptionally good salad selection. Only complaint was in the outdoor part of restaurant where there is a rock formation this was constantly climbed and then jumped off by young children I feel perhaps a sign put in place to try and prevent this happening. The parents don't seem to care about their children doing this. All in all a great week and hopefully return sometime in the future.

Friendly staff, nice view , clean and cozy rooms. Excellent food service. Close to the beach. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to have a good time and visit Gran Canaria. One thing that I would suggest is to have more entertainment for adults at the hotel, more live music etc.

First time in Caneries. Will definitely return but not sure i would to here. Hotel is amazing. Cleanliness is outstanding pools were brilliant, food and drink in all areas was excellent. Staff you did not notice as they were all doing a great job to make sure all the above came together the management should be very proud of them. Why would I not return? The rooms i believe lets the place down. We recieved a free upgrade to garden room 👍. The room itself spotless and big enough for the 2 of us, garden room gives you patio set on artificial grass sun on from afternoon to evening. Nice sized bed and walk in wardrobe. Tv's in bedroom and lounge. Big Bathroom shower in bath. Hairdryer wired into bathroom so you can't move it. This was first issue to use Hairdryer you need a clear mirror, you dont get a clear mirror when shower in use due to steam. The wife would have to wait for bathroom to have cooled down to use. Only other area with mirror was walk in wardrobe area but no sockets. The next issue was no tea or coffee making facilities in room. This is the first time I have experienced this disappointing as wife loves a cuppa when she wakes up. Next issue was tvs, they had main English channels on for 2 days then nothing not even bbc world news. I know you dont go on holiday to watch tv but its good in morning and evening. Lastly the air conditioning was not powerful and continually went off. Fix the Hairdryer and tea coffee issue and we would definitely return as the rest of hotel was brilliant

Such incredible staff and the hotel is spotless. Absolutely huge but feels intimate. Would like to shout out Alejandro. Such a nice guy who made the stay even better. Remembered our drinks and always welcomed with a smile. Thank you so much for being amazing.

Staff are incredible, so helpful, but Alejandro in the pool bar is fantastic. Remembered our drinks and started making them when he saw us coming. Nothing was too much for him. Will definitely be back with the whole family. Thank you so much for making our stay even better.

Overall wet food value for money. Service and staff were excellent. Food could have been a bit better in main buffet- but there is a good selection of vegan and vegetarian options plus salads and desserts where excellent. Fitness facilities were excellent. Could do with outside jacuzzi spa area for adults as the one indoors is pretty rubbish . Not worth the ten euros. The gym is excellent, was busy at 8am - could do with opening earlier like 6 till 10 pm as was busy at peak times . Spin bikes are good some had loose screws which need fixing but the bikes have cleats . There is also hire bike / scooter place at front of hotel, the lunch bars where good with good selection of food and drinks . Location is not the best it’s about. 15 min walk to front either down main road or storm drain neither of which are particularly attractive but once down front it’s lovely . Overall enjoyed stay and would return .

If you are staying here with a formula fed baby, DONT! They do not provide kettles, they advise you to use the coffee machine hot water… upgraded rooms are really small so wouldn’t waste your money. Bedding doesn’t get changed, same food over and over again, even though you pay all inclusive you will still need to pay for things, loads of rules that are ridiculous, everything is shut down at 23:00 so you can’t even sit on the balcony and have a drink unless it’s in darkness, quite a bit out so have to get taxis everywhere, reception staff don’t really pay you any attention, guest relations is USELESS!!!! The list goes on, for such a ‘family’ orientated hotel, it’s really poor for people with babies. We are extremely disappointed with our stay and would not recommend this hotel for anyone with babies!

Stylish, fresh hotel with incredibly nice surroundings. Friendly staff, must lift Alejandro in the H2O bar, there is no more service minded person, always with a smile. The food in the buffet restaurant could have been more varied, also it was a very noisy environment there, you could sit outside and then the noise was minimized. There was an Italian and an Asian restaurant included once/week, amazingly good food. The walk down to Maspalomas beach took about 20 minutes. There are pools for everyone, we ourselves stayed in the adult section, calm and quiet. Also have to highlight the terrace bar Chill, such a relaxing environment. This is really a hotel for all generations, can highly recommend it.
