Nice place. This is the original experience of a youth hostel. It's the way hostels were originally before the new generations turned them into expensive hotels that have nothing to do with youth travel. The staff is nice and helpful. There were stand-up wanna-be performing almost every night in the living room. Brought me right back to the 1960s. I loved it ! It is well located. All the services nearby (restaurants - affordable, cafés, groceries store, parks, subways, shopping streets, etc.). The hostel has a common kitchen for residents and a dining room. Nice place to meet fellow travellers. The hostel is run by a foundation. By staying there, you contribute to help organizations in developing countries. The only down points are the showers. No pressure, no water... This needs to be fixed. Some of the bed have run their life and need a change. Otherwise, great value in a country where everything becomes so expensive.

Man hatte die Möglichkeit sich selbst zuversorgen. Es gabe eine Küche. Leider wurde von einigen Hostelgästen nicht die pbliche nachtruhe eingehalten. Auch fehlte es den anderen daran, ihr geschirr weg zu räumen, dadurch stapelte sichdas abgewaschene Geschirr am Waschbecken in der Küche. Mir hat es für meine Zwecke trotzdem gereicht.

I am so pleased I decided to stay at this hostel. If you're looking for a community of welcoming people and are on a budget, this is the place to stay! It's only a short walk to the city centre and well worth it. Sounds from the street make for a loud Friday and Saturday night, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. I stayed in a shared 4-person dorm and had no issues leaving my belongings out. Valuables were locked, of course. The only con is that the water pressure in the showers is pretty terrible.

Really enjoyed my stay here. I stayed here solo in a mixed dorm for 3 nights, all my other room mates were friendly and respectful and I felt really safe. The hostel has great facilities and is in a perfect location for public transport links. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and the bar is incredibily reasonably priced for drinks and snacks compared to others in area as it is a non profit. Would stay here again and would recommend to others. Thank you!

Pros: Great hostel for quiet backpackers and introvert travellers. The bar downstairs looks a foundation for a party hostel but the vibe is quite the opposite, everyone keeps to themselves. There is a 23pm curfew for the kitchen + living room so at night is a resting place. The volunteers seem relaxed and the a**osphere is chill. Location is great in the liveliest neighbourhood and close to Norreport station. I wouldn't hesitate to book again if I come back to Copenhagen. Cons: only 2 showers and 2 toilets for the whole 2nd floor, and the showers have motion sensors that sometimes don't work. Also, you have to carry the door card with you all the times for accessing the third floor where the living room is, the kitchen, the entrance, etc. and is a bit annoying.

Going kitchen after 23.00 o'clock is forbidden. My other expectations were well.

I only stayed here one night in a very comfortable bed in a roomy six-bed dorm for DKK 120/€15.40 and loved the place. There are lots of showers, a kitchen plus a large common area. Norreport metro station is short distance away to get to the centre, but to be honest Copenhagen isn't enormous and I took a leisurely stroll of about an hour all the way from the hostel to the centre. The area round the hostel is full of bars, restaurants, food shops, etc. The hostel's philosophy of emphasising solidarity and diversity is spot on too.
