ガブリエル ハウス - ゲスト ハウス(Gabriel House Guesthouse)

This is not a luxury stay. We’ve been travelling around the UK & Ireland and this place was the worst. The bathroom had mould all over the walls, ceiling & shower. The tap fitting was broken & loose. The shower fitting was wobbly and not attached to the wall properly. There were no glasses only some cheap thin disposable cups. The kettle was unusable as it had mould in the bottom of it. We didn’t bother with the breakfast due to the lack of hygiene. There was no safe in the room. I would not recommend staying here.

Great Place! Great Staff! Great Food! Tough hill to walk up LOL! Very convenient to train and fun nightlife of city. Restaurants, theater, shopping and of course pubs and Irish music within blocks. Don't miss this homey, lovely spot with great views of the river and city.

The breakfast is unbelievable !! Super friendly staff and really clean , couldnt have enjoyed it any more , absolutely lovely guest house The outside area is also really fab . The food is cooked to order and is super quality , will defiantly be back

This guesthouse is in an old building on the north side of the river in Cork. It's up quite a steep hill, and has no elevator, so we worked off a lot of calories during our stay! The room was small but comfortable, and the staff very obliging. They also had the best breakfasts we had during our stay in Ireland - cooked to order. Highly recommend the porridge and poached eggs. Downtown Cork is within walking distance, but remember that hill coming back!

Lovely guesthouse. Rooms were lovely and the staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was nicely cooked and plenty of options available. Would definitely be happy to stay here again. It is a bit of a hill to walk up and down to get into town but wasn’t that bad. Near train station and a few pubs and restaurants nearby.

We were in Cork visiting family and chose here to stay. The staff could not have been any friendlier or more welcoming. The room was spacious, the beds were very comfortable and the shower's water pressure was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I would recommend here to anyone looking somewhere to stay in Cork city.

We spend 2 nights at Gabriel Guest house during a family trip and it was really nice. The best thing about the place is the super friendly and supporting staff during our stay. We were helped in any possible way and were made feeling home and very welcome. And the breakfast was simply amazing. So much attention to the food and everything was freshly prepared to the point with a little extra to it. I want to really highly recommend this place for a stay in Cork!

I cannot fault this amazing friendly cozy guesthouse. It has literally turned me off hotels and converted me to seek Guesthouses instead. The attention to detail in the design and comfort is perfection. The staff remembered who you are and took the time to chat each time they saw you. There was nothing they cudnt help with. The area is so convenient, bit hilly but ideal for train station and city centre. The room was fab with the most comfortable beds and quilts. The 4 of us woman had great sleeps. Shower was incredible! SO much option for breakfast which is cooked to order, with alot of savory and sweet pastries, cereals fruit and juices. Yummy!! I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting cork!! Ps. If U have physical disabilities ask for a low floor. There is no lift. X

What a beautiful place to stay. We only got one night here but we were stunned with the view from our room. The owner Cary went above and beyond as well as her staff. We thank you all so much for your help with our large group and ridiculous amount of luggage. Rooms were large and comfortable. The bathrooms were also large. The views were spectacular! A very close walk to the train station was an added bonus for sure! Stay here!!
