ボドミン ジェイル ホテル(Bodmin Jail Hotel)

Such a lovely hotel. A stay over for my wife’s 30th birthday. Wish we got there earlier so we could of done the attraction and visit the gift shop. The only downside was we had to ask for a side dish we ordered as that never came out with our food, plus both my wife & I ordered a steak we wasn’t given a steak knife to use and when asked, we was only given 1 to share between us. For a upscale restaurant I would of expected more.

This place is truly amazing. To see the before and after photos, the owner has done an incredible job making this what it is. It’s fascinating and every turn, there is a cool feature in the brickwork or just around you. The dinner was top notch. The breakfast was top notch too. The champagne bar was perfect ambience for couples or those traveling alone. I didn’t want to leave but I’m on a road trip so had to move on. I’ll be back to this place for sure.

Absolute stunning hotel. Very unique & clever! The rooms are gorgeous, the bathroom especially. The restaurant is fabulous. Wonderful food. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back

This is the most unique hotel I have seen. The rooms are amazing. Heated floors in the bathroom. Reception staff as friendly and helpful as they come. Food was incredible. I highly recommend.

The building is absolutely stunning and has been sympathetically converted from a ruin to a high quality hotel. The rooms have been designed from the old cells, and to a very high standard including the en suite bathroom, and each room having independently controlled air conditioning. I particularly enjoyed the interpretation panel in my room telling me about one of the former inmates who had been resident in that cell. The staff were polite and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The young lady in The Champagne Lounge was very friendly and made excellent cocktails. Best breakfast ever accompanied by excellent service. The tour was informative and entertaining. If you get the opportunity, stay!

Fantastic museum at the property. The room is amazing and front desk staff awesome. The restaurant staff was wonderful but the breakfast food was not good and the dinner options fairly average for the price. Hotel is all inclusive which is good because Bodmin itself was not a town for American tourists to just go for a walk in.
