Location of this hotel was not convenient.
Staff was eager to help but falls short due to ignorance. Everyone was nice enough though and tried their best. Front desk was very helpful in booking excursions and answering questions professionally.
Cleanliness was average. The whole room smelled of sewer and I did not get the feeling sanitation was priority.
The food was astonishingly mediocre at best. Left over dinner items were used for breakfast the next day. I had to eat breakfast at the hotel simply due to convenience but only stuck with eggs, toast and the somewhat fresh fruits.
Overall I would not stay at this hotel again and would pay more to be centrally located in the future
I like the place but the only thing that I didn’t like is not being able to walk outside the hotel and get to the shops and local restaurants right away. You have to hire a tricycle driver to take you around to the main area. I love Coron & the people!

First, if you book Sunlight Hotel, you'll be able to use their lounge at the airport while waiting for your flight. Only Sunlight has a lounge at the airport in Coron. Breakfast was great. They served different dishes for the 3 nights we stayed there. Friendly staffs. They immediately assisted me and gave me ice when I asked for it. Complete amenities inside the room. Water pressure was strong. Refrigerator was working. Aircon was quiet. Ohh the safety vault was kinda not working. We could not open it although we followed the instruction. Its a 15-20min walk to the town center so its not that loud. Could always catch a tricycle to go back and forth. I would stay at Sunlight again if ever I'll go back to Coron.

Wifi was no good!!! We had to stay in the restaurant after breakfast to get up to date… Outside of that, was perfect

The hotel itself was decent
Beds are very hard, essentially a box spring with a very light pillow top
Food is good, not much variety of you don't have Asian taste though
They only have one Point of sale unit, so if it fails they have no back up and no idea how to handle that sort of situation
It failed during our checkout, we were out of cash, had to leave for our flight and they wanted us to go to an ATM somewhere in town and get cash out
Or give them a bank transfer, (international) which wasn't happening on short notice even if we had plenty of time
Wound up sending to a random PayPal account which was very unprofessional
A company like this which owns multiple hotels and I believe an airline as well should have at bare minimum a back up way to pay without having to resort to things like this.
