Super location. Private enclosed grounds overlooking the Loire. Fanatastic spacious room with high quality linen, comfy bed and superbly & tastefully decorated throughout. Very welcoming couple who reserved us a good restaurant in town. Breakfast was lovely.

For reasons nothing to do with the place we had lots of problems. Our hosts were wholly understanding and helpful and we were hugely grateful. We didn’t get the opportunity to enjoy everything the old priory has to offer - it looks superb.

I picked Le Prieuré Saint Agnan from the Internet, largely due to the reviews herein and we were really pleased. The hotel is beautiful. The grounds immaculate. Our room was large and quite comfortable. The entire home is behind a rather imposing wall and it is very safe. Our host was nothing less than perfect. From the absolutely delicious breakfasts, to helping us with recommendations for wine tours, castles and chateau visits and dinner. Every suggestion was perfect. We could not have asked for anything more. Parking is super convenient inside the grounds. We had breakfast one morning outside looking out to the Loire River. This was amazing. After a couple of hard days touring in Sancerre, my wife and I enjoyed a cigar, wine and a quick dip in the pool. When we go back, we will most certainly stay again. It was worth every Euro.

Excellent place tucked away in Cosne Cours sur Loire overlooking the river. Very welcoming, beautifully decorated and appointed overnight stay and excellent breakfast. Charming & friendly host. Winter stay, so no swimming, mind, but the gardens look lovely.

Everything about this bed and breakfast makes it a special place to stay. The room with views over the loire, regular chiming church bells and a host who does all he can to make you comfortable. Will definitely return.

The hotel was charming from start to finish. It is set in beautiful surroundings, with a pleasant garden and great views overlooking the Loire. The host, Gilles, was fantastic and helped us hugely - including booking restaurants and recommending wines from the excellent wine list. The room was large, with a very spacious bathroom and a great spa bath. Breakfast was delicious, with local goats cheese, fresh pastries and a great selection of jams. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to others.

Absolutely the best choice for this area. Giles and his wife go above and beyond to make your stay perfect. Lovely all around...

Emplacement idéal en plein centre ville avec parking privé sécurisé. Maison pleine de charme décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Un magnifique jardin avec une vue imprenable sur la Loire. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et la literie confortable. Les propriétaires sont charmants. Le petit déjeuner était parfait (pain frais, confitures et yaourts maison, jus d'orange frais et crottin de chavignol) Merci pour votre accueil.

Superbe séjour-Jardin avec vue sur la Loire et parterre d'iris incroyables- Chambre très confortable avec une literie des plus agréables et une décoration très soignée. Petit déjeuner délicieux avec confitures maisons, fromage, yaourts maison et croissants. Moment très convivial avec notre hôte et les autres occupants de la maison. Lieu idéalement situé près de la Loire et du Centre Ville. Nous avons été bien conseillés pour les visites et les restaurants de la région. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
