Coming towards the end of a lovely week at this hotel. We read some of the reviews before we came which were fairly mixed so had our doubts. We shouldn’t have worried as we had a fabulous time, if you can get over yourself about a few bits of flaking paint and you aren’t expecting Michelin star quality buffet food then you will enjoy yourself. Room was cleaned meticulously each day and was big with ample storage space, comfortable beds and a decent shower, once again come expecting the Ritz and you will be able to find fault. We didn’t experience a problem with getting beds by the pool but if you can’t beat them, join them and put your towels down at breakfast time. The great thing about this hotel was it was quiet at night, no rowdiness or doors being slammed, we did have a sea view room so maybe this made a bit of difference but I doubt much. I understand the hotel has recently changed hands so I’m sure the little things such as a bit of flaking paint will be addressed. Previous reviews talk about safes not working and no kettle, we experienced neither. The location of the hotel is a real plus point with the beach one side and plenty of restaurants and shops the other. We brought our 11 year old granddaughter with us and she loved every minute here as we did. Ignore the naysayers and come and enjoy everything this hotel and Costa Teguise has to offer. 5 stars from us and would have no hesitation in returning.

Our stay at Be Live in Costa Teguise was very enjoyable, the location of the hotel is a massive positive, direct access steps to the stunning beach, a 1 minute walk to the very lively but equally blissful square where you will find a number of lovely bars and restaurants to chose from, although the hotel is all inclusive we ate out at El Patio and Jack Daniel’s - both served excellent quality food, we wandered to the Black Bull pub which is great bar and also serves a small range of reasonably priced food but for the best value for money for drinks (other than in the hotel where it’s free) then visit Chispa’s (known locally as Cheap as Chips) excellent range of drinks and cocktails for exceptional prices. Food at the Hotel is decent although after a few days we started to venture out as the choices do become a little repetitive / but if you’re on a tight budget you wouldn’t complain. Drinks in the Hotel are good and free flowing, service is excellent and the entertainment at night is frequent and varied. The rooms are very good and cleaning is daily and thorough - the rooms are very spacious - we had a Superior Sea View room - 2126 - I would possibly recommend floor 1 or follow 2 but on the same are overlooking the bay. Pool area is well serviced and food is served in the pool bar from late breakfast is served until around 11:45 and then lunch runs from 12:00 to 16:30 - again service is excellent quality. Overall we would 100% recommend this hotel and area - first time in Lanzarote but won’t be the last….

We arrived just after 2-30pm from Edinburgh flight and transfer was great no delays, We was upgraded to premium double with sea view which was fantastic loved it, We had small kitchen area with in our room which was nice but couldn't really understand why there was no cups cutlery plates etc so couldn't really use it , we did use the fridge to keep water cool , The beds was singles pushed together which was fine for us but some couples prefer a double , Didn't watch TV but like to have it on for back ground noise there was few English channels, The balcony was fab nice size ,lovely to sit and watch the world go by , people at the beach kids playing on the sand, windsurfing small boats etc Restaurant, not so good breakfast was passable you can't really go wrong with that , but lunch and dinner was disappointing nothing hot choices nothing great for 4 * hotel we expected the food to be better Snack bar again nothing hot cold food there is microwave but for 4* you expect to have to heat up food , Bar staff was good always helpful and happy Pool area was nice well organised lifeguard lovely and friendly, I would say smoking and vaping round the area was very disappointing most resorts now don't allow it and ask people to smoke away from kids and non smokers it's really horrible lying by the pool choking with other peoples smoke, plenty sunbeds we didn't go to pool until about 9-30am

Greeted by lovely friendly helpful staff and check in was excellent. Room was ready 3308 so was able to get in earlier. Room on top floor, lift not working , very clean and spacious, no kettle as stated on website but when we asked for one it was brought to our room within an hour. Pool area very nice but it was a case of sunbed wars as people were out at 7.00am putting towels on beds!!! Food was ok, we always found something even if it was mis-matched, didn’t fancy the sprouts for breakfast though!! Wasn’t comfortable with the tables being so close together, couldn’t have a conversation without being overheard or people joining in when we weren’t even talking to them. Couldn’t fault the staff, they are an absolute credit to the hotel, from the cleaners to the bar staff, all were so friendly and welcoming. Excellent location with beach, bars and restaurants all on your doorstep

this hotel has all you need for a very enjoyable holiday. great facilities great staff ,great choice of food and comfortable bedrooms. .it is also in a prime location with the beach out the rear of the hotel and the town square out the front of the hotel. it also has the advantage of being on the flat for those who like a walk around the town.

Our 2nd visit and still needs refurbishment we stayed in a smaller sea view room this time you could smell the sewer if the wind was blowing in the wrong direction It probably should be 3 star the Staff are the 4 star They have a fantastic location the entrance to the beach has peeling paint and it's not kept clean another couple couldn't find there way back from the beach as their is no sign they walked through the hotel next door There are plenty of new sunbeds round the pool we prefer the beach but our choice The food was okay but nothing to shout about How ever the restaurant manager is so lovley remembered us from last time We ate out quite alot even though we tryed half board couldn't eat the food everyday There are a few good restaurants by the beach We love Costa teguise but think after 5 times at a few other Hotels time to move on

THB Lazarote Beach well what can I say...... The pros - - Very friendly staff always more than happy to help, We asked for a room upgrade after we arrived noticing that our pool view room was in fact a tree view room, but after paying 14euros a night we was moved quite quickly to a superior room which over looked the pool and was a lovely size can not fault it. - The cleaners came in every day to clean our room however not sure how often beds were changed. - Lovely place if your the older generation wanting just a relaxing holiday. The cons - - The food.... BIG disappoin**ent for myself and my partner we felt that there wasnt a big variety, if your going with children and there fussy eaters that want chicken nuggets then this place probably is not ideal for you. We ate out most nights which is not what we wanted to do seeing as we paid for all inclusive, we did not fancy chips and rice every night. Most hotels we have been to before do themed food nights where they change the food options every night but this was not the case here. - The entertainment was not the best if im being completely honest, it was one show and that was it from 9:30 to 10:30. There wasnt much round the area to do either, was expecting a bit more night life but it very clearly is for older generation and maybe we should have just gone to benidorm to see tribute bands and be entertained. Hotel says that it is a 4star but we would say that it was more of a 3star hotel. Also felt that it was more of an adults only hotel as was full of OAPs. The weather was a big downer for us too, I know you can not do much about mother nature but VERY windy. we did have one really good weather day which we spent on a catamaran for 75euros each which went to Papa***o where you could go snorkelling, kayaking, swimming and stuff. So would highly recommend that for a day out.

Check in was quick we arrived around 10pm so too late for tea but a small layout was left out for us so nice touch there ,the room we have is on the bottom floor and it’s big and clean but the beds are two singles and they move apart the long pillow is not enough for me and ends up down the headboard gap. Beds are hard but ok for me you have small fridge and kettle also a tv and you can get your uk soaps,hairdryer in bathroom. We have always managed to find something to eat in the restaurant so no real problems there except like eveyone says it could be hotter . We have eaten out a few times anyway. The pool area gets busy so get your sunbed towel on when you go for breakfast this seems a adults hotel with not many children about . And like a lot of people will tell you the hotel is in need of touching up with flaking paint blowing off in the wind so expect to see this on the floors. We have enjoyed this hotel and for what we paid ‘would we come back well if the price was right then yes maybe. But really I would want something a little bit better and this could be that with improvement, I would say this is a low 3 star at the moment,

This hotel is the soul and life of Lanzarote. It’s pure bespoke and more than I ever could have hope-d for. I stayed with my boyfriend who I have been with for ten years. In the eight years we’ve been together, we’ve never been on holiday and so were looking forward to this. Firstly I’ll say that the level of cleanliness standard was above all standards, also. If you don’t know Rosemary who does the entertainment, you need to get to know, capeesh? Ah treatit myself to a conversation with her and she’s pure bespoke lovely and complimented me on ma outfits and designer purses and ma sparkle. Everyone at the hotel was pure lovely and told me every day how they loved my outfits and they were very respectful of my sunflower lanyard. Ma partner of 6 years was treatit really well and received crayons each time we went to the restaurant. Anyone with a disability will be very well catered to in this hotel and will be given a ground room. The lobby is where it’s at and is the hot spot for drinks in Lanzarote. It’s an extremely adult hotel that will suit the whole family. The only bit that didn’t spine bright was the food. I went all inclusive but obviously took a lot of money and am glad I did because the food was just no for me. It’s fine if you like that kind of thing but I like fine dining and wanted to branch out. I’d really recommend you walk down to The Lighthouse where you can get a genuine English breakfast that the country of Lanzarote is known for just €5. Towels were changed every day and the hotel provided a lot of amenities that I would have expected only in a six star hotel such as an ironing board, and access to clean water. Smell the wealth. I would advise being prepared. I brought my hairdryer and seven perfumes, but forgot to bring SPF that was in date. Treatit yoursel to some sun protection. Lanzarote is a great country for shopping and you can get genuine doop Dior bags. I can’t wait to return to Lanzarote in Spain again. Take me back!
