This small guesthouse is perfect for the traveler who doesn't need constant service. The two of us stayed in the Carmen Room on the second floor, which has a large window facing the street. The room is mostly filled by the king bed and is five steps away from the shared kitchenette (microwave, toaster, sink, coffee). The room has a hot water kettle which I used for tea every day. There's a filtered water dispenser in the hallway which was super convenient. The house is walled off from the street like many of the houses in this area and is secured with a locked gate. It doesn't look like a hotel from the outside but inside it has two shady courtyards. On the other side of the street is a city bike rental station.
