Visiting family stayed in Waverley solo peaceful and exceptionally clean everyone friendly could not do enough for you especially Gina I would highly recommend it to family and friends Best poached eggs for my breakfast good menu for all Plenty of fruit and cereal to choose from.

room was very well equipped, very clean, and the bed was big enough .

Dealt with two female members of staff (apologies can't remember names), evening and morning - very accommodating and helpful in relation to finding a quiet room among other things. Today I realised I left my washbag containing clippers and other stuff, and so rang the hotel and another member of staff called Olga went above and beyond - finding the item so my family member can collect. Thanks to all the staff! PS: Pub nearby is not particularly cheap but decent.

A magical stay. We stayed here for one night after getting married the day before. We booked ourselves an amazing room, but the receptionist said she would have upgraded us if she could. Instead she gave us a late check out. Throughout our stay, all staff were attentive and kind. Massage and spa were part of the package we booked. Massage was fantastic and the spa facilities were great too. We had a wonderful dinner and breakfast. The tower suite was incredible. A huge bathroom with a claw foot tub that has stunning views, especially with the autumn colours. The bedroom was beautiful with a four poster bed, a comfy mattress and pillows. The mini bar was on the house. At the top of the suite there’s a lounge with the most incredible views. Watching the sunset up there was a special treat. The grounds are lovely too for a quick and relaxing walk. All round a very relaxing stay which was just what we needed after such a busy time. We felt very pampered.

The restaurant was exceptional. Sharon was a most attentive manager and her team were brilliant! Great food and awesome service! Great welcome and beautiful rooms. Loved that we could watch the chefs at work as we sat waiting for our food. Great ambience.

Probably the best budget hotel in the UK. Cosy, friendly, great food, good room, clean and tidy. And an excellent breakfast too! Thoroughly recommended. It's also handy for the M6, and Madeley is a nice friendly village, just down the road.
