It was looking good on the pictures when we looked for a hotel for our trip, but in real life it exceed our every expectations. It's super clean, cosy and friendly place. We were told to book a table for dinner in advance, because it get busy at the evening and now we know why. Food is great, staff is friendly and helpfull. It was one of the best place we stayed in our travels and we travel a lot.

Just overall poor room. Height restrictions TV smaller than the average iPhone and the room was itself was on a tilt.

Stay was good although I couldn’t fit my car through the narrow entrance to the car park and had to park in the street.

Great location, accommodation, food and service. Friendly helpful staff. Fairly priced but book early. Hotel car park through a very tight tunnel but public car park nearby if you have a large car. It was Saturday before Chris**as and there appeared to be an after hours staff/local party with loud music until it dispersed around 2pm. We weren’t too bothered as we were visiting on a Xmas do ourselves and watched TV until it calmed down. It would have been polite to warn residents. I assume this was not a regular Saturday event. We won’t stay at Xmas again.

Had to request two changes of rooms as not suitable but we were then required to pay for an upgrade. We’ve stayed many times previously but have never experienced this. Bit disappointing

A lovely old building, room was clean & comfortable & the staff were very friendly.

First time at this property, a nice traditional pub a**osphere, the evening menu was quite varied, however my chicken goujon starter was dry and overcooked, the main was a chicken curry from the specials menu which looked lovely, but lacked flavour which was a shame, I would've mentioned to the young waitress however I was in a rush and needed to be somewhere. The room was good for an overnight stay.

We stayed for three nights in October and had a wonderful experience. The location in the centre of Crickhowell was very convenient. There is a decent size parking area at the back of the hotel, the entrance to it is quite narrow and wider vehicles might struggle. Our room had been newly decorated and was very clean and pleasant. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful; is a family-run hotel and had a wonderful a**osphere. The breakfast was superb and we ate dinner in the bar/restaurant on a couple of evenings which was also fantastic, plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. We hope to come back again soon.
