ラ メゾン ドゥ クリヨン(La Maison de Crillon)

This is a lovely hotel. The views are amazing looking out to Mont Ventoux. We had a room with a terrace (12). Our room was nice and secluded away from the main house, which was lovely. The terrace had sun loungers and a dining table. Rooms were clean, very large, with a massive bathroom (shower only). The pool area is lovely, equipped with sun loungers and honesty bars with drinks and ice cream. Good continental breakfast provided on the main house terrace. Bedoin is a short drive and has a variety of restaurants for dinner and a good market on a Monday morning. The hotel does not have a restaurant so you will need to go out for evening dinner. In general the hotel is lovely and quiet. Although you will have to look after yourself in the main, as it is run like you are at home, not a huge amount of service offered for the price point.

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a small group doing a tour of the region and could not have been happier. The staff were so accommodating, the rooms were lovely (we lucked out with our own terrace), the pool delightful and the view across the countryside to Mount Ventoux (a renowned climb in the Tour de France) was stunning.

Perfect stay in a perfect hotel. I travel a lot for work and this was so far removed from corporate living that it’s notable. The staff could not have been more helpful: from organising a massage to booking at a table. Great views, clean rooms, a/c for sleeping….and a pool. Am coming back…..

It is not often I write reviews, however my recent stay at this beautiful hotel with my wife and two friends was nothing short of outstanding. The view of Mont Ventoux was divine, one that could be seen from the bedroom, the bathroom, pool and balcony. The staff were so helpful, and nothing was too much trouble; whether it organising a taxi to a local French restaurant or arranging electric bikes for the day. A special mention to JB the house manager who made the stay like you were staying with family and not in a hotel. So thank you . I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the property, we stayed in one of the properties suites. The staff were friendly and helpful. The views across the valley to Mont Ventoux were amazing and we spent many hours looking over at the view. Breakfast was acceptable, the products were always fresh and of a good quality. Our room was spacious with an upstairs bedroom and bathroom located on the floor below, the room had a small terrace and a separate outdoor terrace on the side which was small but had two sun loungers and a table and two chairs. Overall I would stay here again and recommend the property to others. However, there are some considerations for other customers and the property. For the price point of a suite I’d expect a greater breakfast variety and some hot option for food, there was an occasional offer of eggs but this appeared quite random. Room 9 did not have a separate living area, it had a table and one chair in the bedroom area. This for us was pretty poor, at the least the room should have 2 chairs or even better a small 2 seater sofa with table. It didn’t feel like a suite that we’d booked. The side terrace area had a large tree growing in the middle of it, this shading the terrace depriving it of sunlight and leaving leaves and debris over the outside furniture. This area wasn’t cleaned during our stay. Also privacy was added too by way of plants forming a hedge around the terrace, which did provide privacy but also attracted insects. The bathroom area was nicely done. There is a helpful parking bay for arriving customers to drop bags before parking below the property at the bottom of the hill. The property must do more to stop clients parking in this one place and leaving their vehicles in the space for hours and including overnight. I appreciate this maybe selfishness of some other guests but the hotel should look closely at this. A very pleasant stay with many positives but some areas to consider.

The hotel is of a very high standard with wonderful views of Mont Ventoux. We had a detached garden house which was amazing. Where the hotel is lacking is around a personalised service. There are minimal staff and they rarely interact with guests. The hotel operates on a “help yourself” basis. There is an honesty bar and breakfast is entirely self service. Staff do not approach your table to clear plates until you have left. There is no food in the evening which is a shame and surprise for a hotel of this standard and which charges €350 a night. On arrival you are asked if you want a restaurant booking at a place in the village. We were reluctant but did not regret it at Le Veux Four. It became apparent that every new arrival must to recommended the same as we went a second time and all arrivals that day were in there. There is clearly a connection with the hotel. Overall it was a pleasant stay but the hotel could be so much more if staff interacted with guests. Even at checkout we were not asked how our stay was. As a result the hotel tends to lack atmosphere which is a real shame as the hotel itself is great. They appear to have taken it a little far in terms of making it feel “home from home”.

I travel all over the world, nine months of the year. I can tell you that La Maison de Crillon is absolutely, hands-down one of the BEST hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Magnificent location under Mt Ventoux; beautiful room with private terrace; honor bar/food stocked with excellent wines; gracious and friendly staff. What more can you possibly ask for? I’m so happy I found this gem and will 100% be back again in the future. Thank you so much for a peaceful and amazing stay.

Wow! Staying at this hotel is like staying in a part of history. It is in a small hilltop Village, picture perfect! The service is wonderful and the accommodations could not be more stunning. The staff is friendly. The breakfast superb. So glad I stayed here!
