Excellent place. Please replace the pillows with smaller pillows. They are to thick. That’s a small detail. Overall outstanding!!! We will come back again. Total relaxation trip. We stayed in the villas as just two people, but you could easily have four people with a large living area and an outstanding porch. We loved the porch swing. The breeze on the swing was amazing and listening to the birds in the morning while having coffee is therapeutic. Our villa had a view of the ocean as most of them do. Just outside the door was a cluster of banana trees and a bananas were almost ripe. Just across the street a nice evening stroll is all the restaurants and party life and beach and diving and snorkeling and so much more fun. We dove at scuba Do dive center. The dive Masters are awesome and the gear is very up-to-date.

Amazing island life experience. Clean. Friendly. Scenic. Everything you need on vacation! Walkable and easy to navigate. Great food and many restaurants nearby. Clear crystal water. Easy bus system. We stayed at the resort not in the hotel.

Stayed in Royal Suite, great for family, own pool is fab. Resort dealt with any setbacks professionally. Car rental via hotel was painless and supermarket nearby, as well as gym. Car needed to explore the island, parking easy and free everywhere. Overall fab stay!

We felt that the bungalows can use some refurbishment on the inside, but they are located beautifully and we still had a lovely stay. And the staff made it really special. After a long and exhausting travel day we arrived at Papagayo and our daughter who is Diabetic, has autism and ADHD, was completely overstimulated and exhausted. We had to wait to check in and I didn’t know how to keep my daughter calm. And then there was the lovely Loechnella, who had seen our panic and struggle from a distance, with her kindness she took us in and Evy immediately bonded with her. She took us with her and checked us in at the bungalow, which was great. She and all of the friendly staff really went out of their way to make us comfortable in any possible way. It was a delight and we felt ever so welcome. Evy still keeps Loechnella and Curaçao close to her heart.

The park is nice, lots of pebbles and could be a bit cleaner as litter isn't always removed in the parks between the villas. Villa's themselves are comfortable and Airco works well. Beach pool is nice, but not always 100% clean especially when it is busy. sunbeams are ok, some are a bit close to one and other. restaurants are nothing special but plenty of good ones around the beach so no problem. Clean beach towels everyday is nice. What makes the resort stand out is the staff who are very friendly and accommodating, big compliment for them, always available and willing to help with issues of which we had a few. All and all it was fine especially as it wasn't very expensive in the period we stayed.

Friendly staff and a nice location. The villas need to be updated however. We ordered wine for the arrival; this was not delivered even after two days of friendly reminders. After insisting a bit this was compensated with a reduced rate in a late checkout.

Must stay at Papagayo beach hotel was horrible I was With guest, she was left at the airport because they simply forgot her when we checked in our Oceanview, we have roaches in our room. The room was not clean properly. The shower was dirty had hair and lint all in it. We was moved to another room, which was not Oceanview. The door wouldn’t closed, so anybody can walk in and out we mention this to the front and one of the ladies in the front was really nice and try her best to make the state more enjoyable so we was finally transferred to another room, which was Oceanview, which was better but we didn’t get treated properly. We were racially profiled.

My family stayed in a 2 bedroom villa at the Papagayo Beach Resort -- it was amazing!!! The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and the beach was beautiful. The pool was also very nice overlooking the ocean. The location was great and a short drive to other great beaches and other attractions in Curacao.

Friendly, beautiful resort with gorgeous beach/pool areas and plenty to do right at the resort. Great nightlife, beach, food and relaxation
