An amazing located and very well maintained hotel on a georgious location near to a lake,our room with high ceiling and view on the beautiful pool was perfect.The staff,management and owner did a wondefull job on spoiling us,we really appreciate all the efforts!Only a visit can make you feel the way i try to type here..When your trip is passing this Sigirya area than this peaceful place you can not skip!

Athena Lake was the perfect stay during our time visiting the Sigiriya area. The staff was very attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast and dinner are in a beautiful setting, we felt very relaxed and absolutely loved the food! We actually think their Sri Lankan curry was the best we had! A lot of their produce is also grown in their own garden. Definitely a place to remember, thank you Athena Lake!

We stayed 2 nights @ Athena Lake Boutique Hotel while visiting Sigiriya & Dambula. The resort is very peaceful & the staff very attentive. It has a nice swimming pool & a lot of area around to walk. It has a lake on the property but was not accessible because it rained. The rooms are very spacious & a nice balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast was nice with a mix of Continental & Sri Lankan fare. All in all a very nice hotel.

A truly amazing three nights stay at Athena Lake Boutique. Lovely surroundings and even more lovely staff at the hotel. You will experience Sri Lanka in the best way and being served delicious meals all through your stay. The personal will go that extra mile to make your stay as joyful as possible. We stayed here for during three nights and also celebrated New Year and can only give our best recommendations. On New Year's day, they showed us their tradition to do milkrice, which means that they boil rice and coconotmilk in a pot over open fire until it boild over. The second day, we went to Sigriya to climb and see the Lion Rock. Many thanks to all the wonderful people at Athena Lake for making our stay so remarkable. I hope to see you all again.

Stayed 3 nights in this beautiful peaceful hotel with its friendly staff and environmental surroundings. Delicious food breakfast and dinner . Close to some famous tourist destinations such as Dambulla and Sigiriya

Me and my wife had two nights stay in this hotel and our experience was wonderful. The staffs were very friendly, the place was beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfy & the food was great. The hotel is located in a very beautiful area.

Beautifully maintained hotel with delicious food. It is located a short distance from Sigiriya. The staff is really super friendly, just like the owner. The WiFi is not very good and unfortunately we had a power failure in the middle of the night, which caused the air conditioning to fail. Of course they can't do anything about this themselves.

It was first time in Srilanka we stay in Athena lake hotel that was incredible amazing place service was top notch starting from welcoming till our all stay we had a great time . Food was great room super cleaned . All staff was so helpful and polite specail thanks to Mr Ranjith kumar for makeing our stay memorable and takecaring our needs very well . Highly reccomeded this hotel keep it up will come back soon . Thanking you so much .
