ダンプランド(Ferienhauspark Asgard im Dampland)

The hotel has been renovated and is nice, but the service is the worst. The staff has no experience, in fact I don't think any of them have ever worked in hotels and restaurants before; they understand neither German nor English, they clean bathrooms with towels! Bar and restaurant staff are inadequate, they bang plates, glasses and cutlery together, generating deafening noise in the room. They are not German and I think they come from parts of the world that are incompatible with Europe or the USA. Evidently, the Hotel General Manager and the F&B Manager are also inattentive to say the least and do not carry out any checks on how the hotel works.

The place could no way near cope with the amount of visitors. Lines for everything. Crowded and noisy everywhere. Friendly staff although only a few could explain the very odd opening hours and rules for the activities.. We wont be coming back or ever recommend this to anyone…

Booked a stay there, but had to cancel (in good time) due to the family being hit by covid. Tried to get a refund, but they just said there was no exemption, and still charged more than 200€ in cancellation fee (More than 1/3 f the total cost). Would have booked a new stay, if they had been a bit more service minded, but that's not happening now.

Not impressed. Nice rooms, but room service wakes us up on the first morning before 9, which I didn’t find acceptable. We had all inclusive but on the second day they decided to close for the coffee/cake earlier than the time slot ended, because they had worked hard and where tired (we were really surprised) and they have already shared the left overs between the employees. Many of the activities doesn’t open before 10.30, which we found a bit late, especially for families with kids. Some of the activities are still closed due to COVID, which nobody told us at check in, so we spend quit some time trying to entry a building and find these activities. Not coming back

Old place and the House is worn out. Bad food in the only restaurant that was open (during off season things are low, and we had to drive 15 km to another city to find a decent restaurant). The open facilities where good and so was the service.

Would say it counts down the elevators var very slow, and 1.5 out of 3 was broken. Which resulted in big lines, and people started walking up and down the stairs. which was not dimensioned for that traffic.

The hotel is obviously something thought up by the architect anti-christ in the early '70 but the room had been very resently renovated and was very nice. Very nice bathrooms and a nice balcony. We were luvky with the weather and had it been raining we might have had a different oppnion. Nice marina and nice area for walks. We didnt use any of the (pay for) facilities such as the "water park" but it look nice. We had the half board plan. They assing you an early or late "time slot" based on what criteria i dont know - but you can change that. The breakfast was OK the dinner was "la-di-dah" - and the forst evening quite bad. But your options are limited since this is quite out of the beaten path. Very good beds!

Bij de boeking is niet vermeld dat de kust zwaar beschadigd was door de oktober stormen. Waardoor hele delen waren afgesloten. De trip was geboekt als wellness weekend in een luxe hotel. De kamer was oke maar niet schoon, de bedden (matrassen) waren ingezakt. De douche bak lekte, waardoor de vloer nat was. Bij aankomst was het zwembad gesloten wegens onderhoud zodat er niet gezwommen kon worden. De volgende dag was slechts de helft van de sauna gelegenheden op stoom en daardoor een slechte ervaring. Er was geen toezicht op gekleed/ongekleed waardoor er veel verwarring was. Personeel uitermate onvriendelijk. Ruststoelen werden bezet gehouden zodat er geen plaats meer was en andere rustruimtes waren uitermate koud. Biertje kostte € 5,00 bij de sauna en was niet koud en water was in de sauna niet te vinden, alle fonteintjes afgesloten en water aan de bar kostte € 3,00. Omdat wij iets te vieren hadden en dit als luxe hotel te boek stond dachten wij een restaurant te bezoeken. Helaas was dit ook net een kantine, waarbij toegegeven moet worden dat het eten uitstekend was.

Von außen eine Bausünde aus den 70. Jahren. Von innen die Zimmer schön modern eingerichtet mit ausreichend Platz und Ablageflächen. Genügend Schrankplätze vorhanden. Neu renoviertes Badezimmer. Ruhig gute Betten. Dichte Verdunkelungsvorhänge. Schöne Saunen. Unterschiedliche Schwimmbäder. Freundliches Personal.
