AC worked fine in the evening on first day check in, then became a nightmarish experience, the wost part of it is it started to heat up for no reason while we were sleeping at night, by the time we became aware the room was scorching and super dry we were all sweating couldn't even breathe. contacted the staff and she reset the thermostst, it appeared fine at beginning then after half an hour or so heating up again. it was then finally we were arranged to a different room but it was already the 2nd day of the staying. its frustrating because of the poor facility mainterance, a nice family vacation as a result became an unpleasant experience.

The place is ok.. Room is clean & decent size but my problem with this place the front desk. The woman wearing a shirt with no name tag. She said her name was Rochelle. It took awhile for her to finish the transaction & returning my card. Take note that's the only time I took my card out of my wallet & I have RFID wallet & pouch. After couple hours my credit card send alert someone used my card. Someone made online purchases & food delivery in west coast area. And after I dispute it. Immediately I received alert someone used my card at Walgreens 1hr away from this hotel. It's a headache! (hours on the phone) calling the credit card to dispute all purchases that I did not made. Never again! Stay away! I don't recommend this hotel.

i loved this hotel. It was very convenient to the highway but was very quiet there. The beds were comfortable. the staff was friendly. This hotel is also nice and clean. Huge tv in room.great for family. The breakfast was your standard offering and nice and clean. I would gladly stay here alone or with a family

Date of Stay: Saturday, October 28th, 2023 room 203 The room was huge and spacious. It has two queen beds and a sofa bed. There are light-giving blinds and blackout blinds, a closet cabinet, an ironing board, an iron, a Keurig, and a mini fridge. The beds are very comfortable, with an excellent fluffy mattress, and plenty of pillows that are full & fluffy. The beds at HiEX always offer a great night's sleep -comfy and cozy. The bathroom is large and very clean. The shower head is very high, which is great for taller guests. This HiEx is pet friendly, we had a service dog, and they never even blinked at it. The excellent service lady who checked us in was very friendly, helpful and efficient. She had our check-in prepared so that it was quick and easy. When we realized we needed extra towels, she quickly got some for us. Breakfast at HIEx hotels is always a joy. I never miss a HiEx breakfast. Their buffet has scrambled eggs, two kinds of mini omelettes, and boiled eggs. There is bacon and turkey sausage, various bread options and muffins, waffles, yogurts, various cereals and oatmeals, and fruit. The kids will love the cinnamon buns, which are a favourite item. The breakfast area is maintained at a high level of cleanliness, replenishment, and impeccable appearance. The hotel has a good gym that is open 24 hours - with a treadmill, bike, elyptical, and some weights. There is also a pool. The hotel has plenty of free onsite self-parking available, it is close to several amenities, including a great restaurant we ate at, "Rosys Tomorrow" a short drive down the road. Holiday Inn Express is always a go-to preferred hotel option for us because of its consistency and reliability with comfort, service, quality, security, and breakfast. Unfortunately, hotel prices these days are a bit high, and while the cost of this hotel was a bit pricey, we chose it because if we have to pay these kinds of prices, we at least want comfort and quality that we can count on and thats HiEx. If i could, I would always stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels on every one of our roguetrips.

TV Channels weren’t working properly. Shower water was not coming out of top spicket.

This hotel needs a complete revamp of their maintenance team. There’s absolutely no excuse for charging $250 for rubbish. The paint is literally flaking off the ceiling from water damage, there are unfinished patches in the ceiling and walls AND THERES MOLD! Forget about the fact that the heat/ac didn’t work, at least fire the Helen Keller Maintenance team you have currently! These are EASY repairs! The BOH needs to get involved.

Customer service was amazing the young lady Rochelle at the front desk was very professional and helpful. The hotel is being renovated a lot of new upgrades coming soon . The rooms are clean the breakfast was good.

The staff at this Holiday Inn Express goes out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The front desk staff are courteous, knowledgeable about the area and always there to help. The hot/cold breakfast buffet has a lot of choice and is always being refilled all the way up to closing time. The cleaning staff is top notch! They not only make sure your room is well kept and stocked with bathroom supplies, they also are on top of all the public areas of the hotel keeping them sanitized and neat. The cleaning staff also keep the gym and pool area neat and stocked with towels. The pool is clean, a decent size for a boutique size hotel and has Sun chairs and an umbrella covered tables and chairs for those who like to eat/read/play cards in the shade. A great place for family or business trips!
