It was a great hostel friendly staff .

The room was quite comfortable but strangely, no Shampo or Conditioner. Still, the facilities are good (including a kitchennette) and the location is great - being just at the edge of the city centre. The location meant it was easy to gain access to bars, cafes and restaurants and only a km from the waterfront and lagoon area.

Only stayed one night, very impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room, the location and the staff. Would like to have stayed longer , will certainly stay again when next passing through Darwin.

A great little gem in Darwin. Simple, but clean, very comfortable and a great pool. Great communication and very friendly and helpful staff. The kids were a bit scared of the squeaky bunk beds which need a tightening up but they slept fine eventually. Right in the heart of town and includes parking. Very handy. Will stay again.

Perfect for what I needed, room was big, bed was big, fridge was big. Secure property and perfect location on Mitchell Street with walking access to all that was required. Awesome value for money and having free foxtel was a pleasant surprise/bonus. All in all, way better than I expected.

The lady running Capitanos was very friendly and helpful. Truthfully I booked Capitanos solely based on the lower price and good reviews. It’s a basic room in a concrete block for a relatively high price, but everything in Darwin was super expensive at the time and I felt I got good value. The bedding was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning and shower worked fine. There was a good fridge in the room. The location is just a bit further from everything than you’d want, but overall the location was okay. We went to the Mindil Beach Sunset Market and the Convention Centre area, both of which were about 10-15 minutes scooter ride from Capitanos. We didn’t use the pool or laundry but they both looked nice.

The room was comfortable, liked the table & chairs out side of the room, central position & private parking. Payment was easy and booking went well through wotif app. Includes microwave, kettle, Foxtel

Comfortable , clean, quiet, gated place. Rooms have a good sized fridge with sink. The manager was really helpful and made our stay as easy as possible. Great location right next to the Entertainment centre and easy walking distance to shops and the waterfront.

Great location, handy to central Darwin. Leanne and Paul are awesome hosts. We had an issue with TV/Internet, they couldn't sort so moved us to another room.
