I would like to say a big thank you to all the team Hotel Edelweiss Davos for making my stay so enjoyable. The staff are very nice. Just to mention a few names: - receptionist Ronja went the extra mile to help with all the questions I had. It was a very smooth check in and check out. - Paul from the restaurant provided a very quick service for a 3 course meal, regardless that the restaurant was very busy, plates cleared and food delivered quickly. The sauna and the ski boot room are excellent. The location is very good. The hotel provides excellent value for your money. I do recommend this hotel and I will book it again. See you soon :). Gorgeous hotel with spacious rooms, a delightful dining room, and an incredible sauna/spa area. Not to mention the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains from every side of the property.

Hotel Edelweiss is a gem! Recently refurbished the interior is modern with neutral colours and extremely comfortable furnishings. We have just returned from a week in the apartment situated on the ground floor. It is quiet and spacious with 2 separate bedrooms furnished with double beds , one of which has a ladder to a third double bed which would suit a teenager or child. There is a spacious sitting /dining room , a well fitted kitchen and a bathroom with over-the-bath shower. The beds are extremely comfortable with down duvets and soft pillows. All was immaculately clean and well presented. Next to the apartment is a large sitting room for all guests with its own library. After tasting the quality of food on the first evening, we opted to have half board for all of our stay. The food is fabulous and very good value for money with a starter, salad buffet, main and dessert for 25 Chf. Highly recommend this option. Our thanks must go to the wonderful, caring staff who were so professional and friendly. From the warmth of the reception staff to the smiley ,waiting staff and the talented chef, we felt everyone went out of their way to ensure that our holiday was enjoyable. This is a hotel I can highly recommend and hope to return to in the near future.

Good location on a quiet side street. 5 minute walk to the P****nnbahn ski lift. Sunny balcony to the south. A small and clean sauna section. But you shouldn't expect much from the evening meal. Accommodation 4+/5, food 2/5.

I can't comment on the quality of the hotel other than to say that check your booking VERY carefully before you make it because if you have to cancel you likely won't get a penny back. I booked with a room to stay there in October and realised a few days later that it stated it was non refundable (so my mistake). I contacted the hotel immediately I discovered this and had to change my travel plans (covid restrictions) and they just spouted some BS that those are the rules, tough. Given the difficult circumstance for both the travel industry and travellers the last 20 months you'd think they would have a slightly more customer focused outlook but no, they'd rather just take your money and shaft you. IMHO, I think that complete lack of customer care is best avoided and denounced. I would not stay there if someone paid me to. The meeting will be rescheduled but I will 100% be avoiding this profit focused, money first, customer last enterprise.

I was recovering from flu and have a hacking and loud cough. I rang the hotel to see if I might be able to change my dates, assuming that in the current atmosphere of anxiety amidst the rapidly spreading Corona virus in Switzerland other guests would not appreciate me coughing at night, and much less at breakfast. I have been dealt with extremely unsympathetically, rudely and also inaccurately pertaining to my cancellation fees. I had in fact not wished to cancel at all, merely arrive a week later. Now I’m actually glad not to be spending my time there. If that is the tone of the hotel, I shall not consider it in the future.

Nicely located and friendly staff.

This was my second stay at Hotel Edelweiss during business in Chur. There are dozens of great hotels in Chur too, but I gladly make the 1-hour drive through the mountains for the amazing views and the 3-course dinner! The hotel is a great value for your money, especially considering dinner, a complementary local public transport pass, and the beautiful landscape. The town center is just a few minutes away by foot, where there are numerous restaurants and stores. Pros: - Very friendly staff - Great views and location (close to mountains, lake) - Amazing 3-course dinner available (included with some bookings) - Large sauna with view onto landscape - Complimentary public transit pass during stay - Free parking (but spaces are limited) - Lake (roughly 4km perimeter) Cons: - Lack of variety at breakfast (no vegetables or warm foods) - Small TVs in rooms (holding my phone at arm's length in bed makes a larger display) - WiFi signal can be weak depending on room location
