Easy check in and nice rooms. staff was friendly. Nice restaurant attached as well.

The staff were very unhelpful and there were many issues with the door and lock. The occupant of the room had a broken ankle and had to walk back and forth to the front desk because of these issues. The staff was not considerate either.

To attend a medical appointment we decided to book a nice room to make it a little getaway. After a 7 hour drive on winter roads….upon check in we find out that the pool/hot tub closed for a maintenance for a month…..no mention of this previously or we would have went elsewhere . Check in and find our room King Bed Jacuzzi tub. All night we were awakened by a nasty odour from the bedding….we seriously wonder if it had been clean😬 Next day we called from our appointment told staff and asked for clean sheets and duvet….they were changing bedding when we arrived back at 5pm…huge difference in smell and so we were certain the bed had been dirty the previous night Apparently you need to ask for daily housekeeping…we saw a sign in one elevator that goes into it…..again, this is not mentioned previous to booking…..as a Getaway…stay in a $200/night room…..Hope your sheets are clean upon arrival and do your own housekeeping….oh ya….no pool or hot tub but we will charge you all the same…. We did give this feedback to the Hotel we heard from Manager after checkout she was very nice. The staff were nice …the breakfast area was tidy. It appears this hotel services work crews who shift in and out….as a guest looking for a getaway I would NOT recommend staying there…it appears the focus is providing Camp Workers accommodation rather than regular hotel guests.

Sad that the pool was down for maintenance and we were not notified until check in. Some disappointed kids for sure. Would have appreciated a heads up

I booked this hotel primarily because of the pool and was informed after check in that was closed. The hotel it self was a good hotel. The bed was a bit worn but not uncomfortable. The room was over all decent. Breakfast was good. Really liked the waffle machine. Staff were phenomenal and were definitely the high point of the visit.

The room we stayed in was large and nice. The beds were springy. The room was not very clean when we arrived. There was no information about the town and no food/restaurant flyers etc. The pool and hot tub were down for maintenance, but there was nothing on the site stating this prior to our arrival or when I called to confirm. The pool, slide, and hot tub were the main reasons we booked this hotel. Breakfast is only served until 9:30am instead of 10am. Breakfast was rubbery and seemed like it was just microwaved leftovers so it was not good. The cereal was super stale. The waffles and yogurt were good though. The hall and staircase were covered in dried mud and rocks the entire time we were there so cleaning was not a priority. Our room was never cleaned and we had to keep asking for things such as toilet paper and towels. We did eventually get a full roll of toilet paper and an extra towel. When I brought up my concerns with the front desk they did not seem to care and they never answered my questions or concerns. I would have to wait and ring the bell multiple times before anyone came to the desk to help me. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience. The Fix restaurant that is attached to this hotel is really good and convenient. Overall I would suggest calling the day before and day of arrival to make sure all amenities are working and bring your own food and towels and perhaps tuck some toilet paper into your luggage just in case.

We felt the room was not as clean as it should be. We were also put in a room that was dramatically different from the advertised photos on *******. Also the breakfast could have been better. The bagels were pretty rock hard.

Great proximity to Ovintiv Centre for concerts. Nice and clean, though the bathroom chrome wasn't. Breakfast included.
