Shore Winds Motel

This motel is a terrible place to stay.I went online and paid for a room to stay with our dog and when I got there she said that there were dog rooms and they were all full.I told the woman who had the motel to give me my money back and I was really upset.She did honor my request and let us have a room for 2 days.The room she gave us had good hot water but no locks on the windows and my boyfriend had to rig up the windows for our protection. There were unsavory characters around the motel with fighting going on and being loud.Also the sign in the front lobby said no drug use but I only can assume that it was going on.The front lobby had alot of stuff in and looked very messy.not a place to stay with children and they did not have a pool that I knew off.

Was told no refunds after you book, this is why: dirty tub/shower. Broken blinds and furniture. Ripped & dirty box spring. Disgusting old couch. Lipstick on pig with paint over everything. Bleach covered body odor and cigarette smell. Lobby used as storage. Refrigerator & shower sounded like a plane landing. A/C was good along with TV once you got the 101 crash course on how to operate the remotes. A lot of hot water. This is across the street from nicer hotels and the ocean. Transients in the area. Ceiling construction looks like they built 15 walls and removed them. Microwave was dirty along with coffee pot that is "suppose" to be clear. No amenities what so ever and no hair dryer. Bring your own sheets and keep your flip flops on at all times, even in the shower. Take pics & dispute with your credit card company is all we can suggest.

Very dated. Clean, beds were good, liked availability of full kitchen, needs vent fan for bathroom….can’t get dry without opening the door, location is good…walking distance to convenience stores and restaurants.

Good for druggies I suppose. Neck level shower heads. Barely any water that’s barely warm. Box spring only bed. Wall ac that doesn’t stay on. Super dirty.

Nothing unique about this property. It's the sad state of affairs that is Daytona Beach. This hotel like all the others is trying to scrap by. The whole town is swirling down the drain except for the plazas right next to DIS and Embry Riddle. the Beach is beautiful but the community is delapitated and geting worse. This hotel is just a microcosm of the problem. And nobody seems to care. It's sad. I won't be staying in DB when I come to one of the most prestigious sports car races in the world, sponsored by the name in premium luxury watches again. I'll stay in a town and at a place that cares, has some pride.

I booked this hotel based on lowest cost. I was a bit weary because you get what you pay for. The property is definitely tired but cute. If I had the money, I would buy the property and gut all of the units and let the owner's stay for free. The rooms are well used and need a lot of maintenance. But, I just needed a quiet and clean place to stay. The sheets and towels were clean and so was the water. The bathroom fixtures all worked well and nice hot water. The neighbors in this property are all just getting by. But everyone was friendly as was the property owners. I would stay here again.

Hot water was lacking, outdoor furniture was plastic

Abt deposits Fifty dollars n I asked there that I need to leave by Saturday but there do not give my refund fifty dollars I have to stay till Sunday by 11:00 am , So I had to stay till Sunday abt 9:30 am n there refund me the fifty dollars that why I do not like this. I will never to stay there again! Thank u

This place should be shut down, i think the city should raze it down and start anew. As a matter of fact im thinking about calling the daytona beach health dept. As to you people at **********, i find you very irresponsible for recommending a hotel like this without first checking the facts. The place is a a roach infected dive. Im seriously thinking about cancelling my membership with you.
