ラブランダ センシズ リゾート(Labranda Senses Resort)

This was our third visit to The Labranda Senses Resort Hvar. We love this resort for its location,The facilities and most of all the friendly staff. The hotel offers an all inclusive board basis,which on each occasion we have enjoyed.The food at the resteraunt was excellent,a varied choice at every sitting. The rooms are comfortable ,clean and very quiet. They have all watersports available,bikes for hire and scuba diving for those keen to explore the crystal clear water. The hotel is a short walk into Vrboska town ,which has some lovely resteraunts and bars dotted along the seafront. Buses run from Vrboska via Starigrad to Hvar town ,which has its famous port and some great sights to see. They have dedicated staff in the reception to organise boat tours ,wine tours ,car hire .They are very knowledgeable and will point you in the right direction. All in all,it's a great place to stay,and we will certainly be returning next year to enjoy everything the Labranda has to offer.

Fabulous location, friendly, helpful staff very comfortable accommodation but, it is not suitable for anyone with compromised mobility. It is very isolated and unless you can walk for miles getting around is horrendously expensive. Car hire with full insurance €100 a day. Shuttle to Hvar town which is only 30 mins away €25 pp. Even the water taxi to nearby Village is €10pp each way. I think that an hotel which is so isolated should provide a free or reasonably priced shuttle to the nearest village at least. As the weather has been a little windy and cold the public rooms are not adequate to accommodate the amount of guests, all in all it's turning out to be a bit boring.

Some good points and some bad. Firstly something that a lot of people won't care about but still is not acceptable and is odd - all inclusive here covers pretty much every alcoholic drink and good brands but does not cover decaff coffee!!! I'm fairly sure decaff coffee isn't made with gold leaf but still they make you pay for it here. We've found it in the supermarkets on Hvar and like everywhere it's more expensive but its cheaper than vodka which is included here. We've sat in the bar for a while (hic) and have seen at least 6 people ask for decaff so it's not rare either. Ok onto other issues the spa trea**ents are at 20% off UNLESS you pay on card then there's no discount and worse still the cash point here hasn't worked in SOME TIME. Actually please note that many many places on the island only take cash including coffee shops (that have decaff lol), bike hire, restaurants, buses. Last moan is that the reception staff could do better with helping tourists to find their way around. ALL of that aside the rooms are clean, they have green incentives (vouchers for not having your room cleaned), the cocktails are good, the food is lovely apart from not having any vegetarian standards (no separation of cooking meat near vegetarian dishes). It's more 3 star than 4 star but for 3-4 nights and knowing the above you'll have a nice stay.

Overall the hotel is good although contctless payment for items should be a must. We was dissapointed that we would have to pay for decaff coffee,why should we be penalised when everybody else has coffee on tap!! Surely not that hard to put decaff in the rooms as an option for guests as well as regular coffee.

Rated 4 Star but in our opinion just a 3 star. Rooms are clean well equipped but small. Staff are very helpful and very friendly. Location is great right by the sea on an inlet. Great for cyclists and walkers. Quiet picturesque location. Walking distance to Vbroska quaint village. Negatives very little seating inside bar and reception area when raining. Food very poor quality. Budget for chefs must be very low. Tours offered very pricey. Book your own taxi not via tourist desk a third of the price.

Only just arrived… the restaurant was like a canteen and very loud. No wine glasses. After asking the first waitress she shrugged her shoulders and said “nemamo” meaning we don’t have any. I asked a young waiter who asked me to speak to the man in the blue shirt; after approaching him and asking him he was downright rude and walked away. I then attempted to ask the young lady in the lobby handing out drinks. She wasn’t interested in helping either. I waited over 30 minutes and finally found a long glass I could use. The reception didn’t offer the discount voucher for the beauty trea**ents we should have received. I now don’t want to ask…. Just got to our rooms and relaxed ready to put the tv on and the remote doesn’t work… no batteries!!! Let’s say not a very good start. It can only get better.

We had come back again this year for the third time and the resort keeps on getting better each year With a special mention to Kemal the restaurant manager who makes sure the food is plentiful and delicious and yahiah the bar manager who mixes wicked cocktails . Also must mention the housekeeping team who were excellent. Thank you everyone for the perfect 2 weeks We will return next season.

Can’t say enough great things about our stay. From check-in to check-out, we LOVED every minute of our stay with you. Super friendly and helpful front desk, nice, clean, comfortable room, great service at the pool bar and in the restaurant, yummy food, gorgeous beach. THANK YOU to every person at your establishment. We really enjoyed our stay and would HIGHLY recommend your place.
