Service was extremely pleasant with lots of young enthusiastic staff willing to help guests. The renovated rooms are spacious and well equipped. The showers are a little small in size. The food was excellent quality and a wide variety. It was excellent to see lots of local food varieties including in the menu. We really enjoyed this.

My overall experience with royalton adults only chic Antigua will get a 10/10 review, but I must warn if it wasn’t for the vibes, staff members, and overall feeling at the resort they would have scored much lower. Before I get into this review, I want to give special shoutouts to guest services manager Makeba, front desk receptionist Yaskee, bellboy supervisor Dwight, bell boy Samien, pool bar Joshua, Excite bartender Damyon, pool bar Lashawn, lifeguard Anthony, DJ Berroa, supervisor Jean, vibe team members Nadia, Kalique, Keithroy, and waitress Unique. You all are the reason why this review gets a 10/10. You are the reason why we want to plan a trip back to Antigua. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you all for your kindness, generosity, support, suggestions, and most importantly for overextending yourself for our satisfaction. Without all of your tenacity and gracious hearts, I’m not sure Royalton would score well, be considered as a destination again, or receive the standing ovation we will continue to give on its behalf. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a cold towel and mimosas, which is really helpful for the almost heatwave temperature you experience. You are helped by some of the friendliest front desk people I have ever met. I had the pleasure of meeting Makeba, who I had been in email contact with to coordinate birthday decor for the two birthdays we were celebrating on our trip. Additionally, Vaness and Yaskee helped facilitate my check in with the help of an amazing manager Jose. Personally, I recommend having Jose assist should there be any complications with checking in. Unfortunately, check-in was made extremely complicated by the miscommunication and contradictory instructions between the reservations team by email versus the female manager who was present after Jose’s departure. Thank you so much Rafael Rodriguez( Royalton Dominican Republic) for assisting with the planning and facilitation of this trip. Rafael and I communicated over email prior to my arrival and even after reaching the hotel. You were amazing and so helpful. However, I would have liked the same service I received over email to be translated by the female manager who was facilitating my check-in. I wished she would have had a better understanding of the situation at hand and see how frustrating it was to deal with contradictory statements between the management helping me with my reservation vs her onsite responses. Once check in was solved, we made our way to rooms. We were assisted by Dwight and Samien, they gave us the full rundown of the resort. What to dos, what not to do, and how to best capitalize on our trip. They both continued to check on us frequently throughout our trip making sure everything was going well. The rooms were to die for. The beds were super comfy and housekeeping was extremely attentive. Thank you Cuba and (young Guyanese man) for constantly making sure our mini fridge was packed. We spent a week at this beautiful new resort and had a fabulous time! The beach is simply stunning. Plenty of beach chairs with umbrellas. Pool was also nice, although this is not where we spent our time. With the resort only in its third week of being open, we did hear complaints about service and food quality. However, it seems like many of these kinks had been worked out by the time of our stay, because we found the food and service to be excellent. The staff are learning and service is improving daily, from what I can tell. They are all so warm and friendly, and everyone is trying so hard to make things perfect for the guests. Excellent servers included Jasmine, Rika, and Melissa. Bartenders Mauricia, Estella, and Delisha were awesome! The Vibe team kept things fun and they remember all of the names of the guests they meet! Devon, Nadia, Kiania, Kalique, and Keithroy keep the party going! And Elvis leads a fun water aerobics class daily! Check it out! Thank you all for a great birthday week. We'll be back!

We stayed over a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The staff were great, and the resort was beautifully designed. We enjoyed the specialty restaurants and dined at Hunters (once), Vespa (twice), and Haven (three times). The staff were always so attentive. The entertainment team were fantastic and truly the life of the party. Shout out to the vibe team! We loved the gym in the morning, which was always clean and organized. The cafe was the perfect place to grab a treat and cool down on the hot days. Can’t wait to visit again

We stayed at the Royalton Chic Antigua between the 2nd and 16th of May 2024 When we arrived we were told to expect the unexpected but we didn’t even receive what we were expecting or expected to get what we got. This review is written with absolute disappointment and honesty. A new so called 5 star hotel/resort and not to mention the poor response we received through our complaints/concerns and issues, from the overall General Manager at Royalton Chic Antigua or Tui and Tui Rep throughout our stay and since. We spoke with Mr G of Antigua and Barbuda Hotels and Tourism Association onsite, who told us he would pay for a transfer to a 5 star hotel at any cost . He told us unfortunately he had to get this hotel open and run with it and pay the consequences for when the World Cup cricket commences in June and that he couldn’t promise that our experience would improve by the time we left. He made Tui aware of this but Tui didn’t come up with his offer. We furthermore remained hopeful of Tui reimbursing and compensating us on our return, although it seems loyalty means nothing to Tui. Unfortunately, we were not informed prior to travel that we could have had this holiday cancelled and fully refunded or offered an alternate hotel as some customers were, due to incomplete and ongoing building work. Bearing in mind we also contacted Tui 29th April 2024 to ask if this hotel was complete and ready to accept guests and we were told they were. We have travelled the world for over 25 years and have never complained, we understand there are teething problems with new hotels. We have visited the Royalton St Lucia twice and their standards outweigh this hotel. Even the standard room at St Lucia knocks the spots off the Diamond Club room at this resort. They mentioned 7 restaurants and 5 bars on their website. Only 2 of the 7 restaurants advertised opened daily along with the buffet. However, the buffet closed for lunch and evening meals the last week of our stay. The beach bar never opened the whole time we were there. The sports club never served drinks or food. The overwater restaurant was only available to Diamond Club members or paying guests and not as advertised prior to our visit. The Taboo Bar should have opened between 10.00 - 23.00 but didn’t open until 17.00 at the earliest. The rolls and sandwiches at Insomnia cafe were stale/hard by lunchtime. We were served cold/incorrect food or waited up to 2 hours for orders at the restaurants or never received our orders at all. We paid full price for a luxury 5 star experience and received less than advertised. We were mis sold this long awaited break by Royalton and Tui. We endured 2 floods whilst there due to inadequate drainage at this part new build/renovated property. We had to wade through sewage/rainwater/mud to get back to our room. Ground floor rooms were flooded. The roofs on first floor restaurants leaked. One of the affected pools was left full and hoovered/with chemicals added for 5 days to

Royalton chic was absolutely stunning, let’s start off with the absolutely amazing staff at this fine resort, the staff truly knows how to go above and beyond and do it always with a smile. My now fiancé proposed to me at this resort by doing a candlelit dinner at sunset on the beach, which was absolutely breathtaking, the night would not have gone as smooth if it wasn’t for our absolutely incredible waitress oneckia, the staff truly out did themselves for our proposal. To end off the trip we spent time at royal spa which was another 5 star experience. This trip was truly an amazing experience and one week of paradise, royalton chic we will be back

This resort exceeded my expectations. Booking this resort while it was still under construction was nerve wrecking. However, when I got there I was So happy that I did not cancel my trip. The resort is so beautiful, breath taking to say the least! The front desk and checking in area is so beautiful. The food in the restaurants were very good, the staff are so friendly and helpful in the restaurants. onieka from hunter, and unique from italian was our waitress and they paid so much attention to us and made our dining experience great. The manager Chrystal was also very caring and helpful, she always checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our meals. If you haven't book this resort as yet, please do so NOW. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
