ホテル ポート(Hotel Port Doksy)

Lovely place and mostly lovely staff, however I will not be urinated on and told it's raining. Worst prepared and presented duck I have ever had. When I complained I was made to feel that it was normal to be prepared like that. The potatoes tasted like they had been cooked the day before and reheated too.

A wonderful hotel in all respects. Nice rooms with a view, a beach, two swimming pools, excellent cooking. Very friendly staff. Breakfast on the terrace. We have been about six times and will be returning soon.

I just spent 7 days at Machovo Jezero. While browising hotels I came across Hotel Port and straight away booked my stay. The Rooms (I had a single Room) do not all have lake view; How could they, a building has 4 sides after all. But apperently If you are a single traveler you do not get lake view at all caus all the single bed rooms face the parking lot. This is however a minor detail I can overlook, cause who spends their whole time in the room looking out the window? For a nap, sure and thatÄS where view is not important :) I did have half board which Included breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. Both arrangements where very sattissfactory and plenty things to chhose from. They also arrange a lot of things like, Fridays you can have your dinner buffet on a boat that cruises around the lake; on Tuesday they arranged a BBQ. This hotel is also very Kids friendly. They offer a lot of activities (bike rental, boat rental, badminton, (table) Tennis, bowling, etc. A indoor and outdoor Pool as well as a private acces to the lake (sandy beach) is available for the hotel guests (and a Jacuzzi !!) That Jacuzzi... I discoverd best times for haveing this bubbley wonderland to yourself is around 8 in the morning (everybody is at breakafast) and around 7 in the evening (everybody is at dinner); There you easily can get 2 hours alone in the Jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly and the service was really good. If you are an outdoorsy-walky-person, you can take walks to the nearby places Doksy (about 20 min) or Stare Splavy (also about 20 min) or even further than that :) All in all a recimendation for single travelers, couples and families.

Our fifth or sixth stay and we have never been disappointed, on are the contrary. Everything is furnished in good taste, is functional and the staff helpful as usual. This time we were happy to have AC on hot days. And there was perfect flower decoration in the dining room. If we found anything of a little lower quality than before it was the evening buffet meals. Several dishes were too spicy, e.g. and often there were no little card describing the meals.

We've been traveling to Hotel Port for 8 years and it was so good, as accommodating as food service. But recently became worse. There are carpets in all rooms and they are friendly to animals..... and it was disgusting, because our room was full of hair of animals. Even we had brown tap water in the bathroom - after washing the teeth we felt bad and vomited for two days. Also the buffet has greatly deteriorated. I'm sorry about that.

Nice and clean rooms (half situated to forest, half to sea view). Staff is kind and friendly everytime. Cuisine is okay for adults and children as well. We also enjoeyd swimming pool and whirlpool inside (ca 12 m). Parking available for free.

Lovely lake view, nice interiors, perfectly clean rooms, perfect services including wellness, rich breakfast offer. Superb location, extremely quiet, countless possibilities for hiking in surroundings.

Tolles Hotel. Sehr sauber. Freundliches und stets bemühtes Personal. Leckeres Essen auf Karte und wunderbares Frühstücksbuffet! Pool und Whirlpool zum Entspannen! Bowling und Aussensportanlage. Zimmer sind freundlich eingerichtet. Gerne wieder!
